We've been informed that All Dogs Go To Heaven 1 & 2, Anastasia and Secret of NIMH will all be coming up on Bluray, on March 29th!
This is kind of a shocking news to me, as I really didn't expect any company besides Disney to release any of their traditional features on Blu-ray anytime soon. I'm glad to be proven wrong! If these do well, maybe there's hope for Universal releasing Balto and both An American Tail on Blu-ray too?
Here are the covers, which I admit are very attractive (even though a bit inappropriate in NIMH's case) :
The price for each is $19.99, which is the price of regular DVDs releases! Glad to see 20th century Fox and MGM doing such a great job. I wonder if extras will be included though?

So, I read that ADGTH 1 will be in widescreen, but I thought it was
filmed in full screen. I geuss they will cut off the bottom and top of
the images and extend the sides. Anyways, 20 dollars is pretty
expensive. They should have at least been 10 dollars. Hopefully there
will be some extras. I also hope The Land Before Time, both An
American Tails, and Balto get Blu-ray releases too. |

My goodness, I'm not liking this cover art. NIMH is all right--though
it's really too cute and innocent-looking for such a dark, mature
movie--but my old VHS and DVD covers for all four films are much, MUCH
better. Especially the All Dogs ones...these are "special," indeed.
  Aside from the drawings that are seriously sloppy, I'm
offended that Sasha is not featured on the ADGTH2 cover. What a
dreadful oversight. *shakes head* Anyway, it IS very nice that they're
actually bothering to give these great movies Blu-Ray releases, but
unless they come with some awesome new features I haven't already
seen, I have no reason at all to replace my tapes or DVDs.  |

I love these!! I'm very glad these are being put on Blu-Ray discs
(even though I'm still just fine with DVDs). :3 Though I love the idea behind the ADGTH covers, I hate the anatomy and character design flaws. If it wasn't for the bright colors, I'm sure I'd hate them a thousand times more. Other than that, I think these covers are gorgeous. |

*shakes head whilest rubbing temples* Oh lawdy lawdy the cover art for
the 2nd ADGTH is just hideous... not that the rest are much better.
I don't like to criticize unless I'm sure I can do better. ...so it would appear I'm safe to voice my opinion this round. |
