�Why does Bambi's dad not want to look after his son? At the beginning he only comes to see his son once then when his mother dies he comes to take care of him but he wants a doe to take his place. He never plays with Bambi or has fun with him he's just teaching him how to be a leader. I think he should spend more time with his son and play with him.
� But eventually he does want to look after Bambi and be a good dad but why did it take him so long?
