I just joined the site and i want to jump right into creating fan characters but.... how?

-Encore-Another tip is to look at how other people create there characters, for example.

Nick Name:

Gender:

Breed:

Age:

Personality:

Bio:

and so forth

Just remember don't steal from people's ideas

Click on characters then my characters. There will be a bottom that says create a character. You should be able to find your way from there. Just be sure to read all the rules carefully before submitting a character. It will be deactivate if you don't fallow the rules. By the way, welcome to the site!
