1. Go to the top navigation menu on the main page (or any page on this
source), underneath the source banner, and click on the link marked
"send to site";
2. Scroll down just a bit, and you will see a selection of clickable
links (with icons). On the right-hand side, click the link marked
"character" (with the image of Simba, from The Lion King, on it);
3. A page will come up which not only provides character creation
rules, but recommendations as well. Read it and then, at the bottom,
click on the ""Continue" button;
4. A blank character creation page will then come up for you to flesh
out your character. Remember to follow the submission rules!
Here is a good guide to creating a character, by a long-standing and
very knowledgeable member of Animation Source. It is a great resource
for creating good characters (just scroll over and click the link
below):
Also, PLEASE try not to create a character that ends up being used
just once or twice for role-playing. Make the character interesting,
engaging and original. One which other members will enjoy reading
about. Use it in fan art or images, and maybe fan fictions too. Not
just as a one-off (or two-off) role-play character, and certainly (and
most especially) not for "mates" stuff, which most members don't find
much interest in (and some find distracting and irritating).
