The Bookseller is probably the villager man whom Belle sees the most. He is very kind and appreciates the visits of the girl, although he seems surprised that Belle returns his books so often. He is always amused by Belle's constant desire to want something new in his store. When he hands over Belle's third favourite book to her, the Bookseller decides to let Belle keep it as a gift.
