Here's an interesting find I came across earlier on Facebook. It lists 7 animals that are smarter than humans and some of the reasons why that is. Some of these facts will knock your socks off.

Those are interesting facts, but most of them are more related to ability than to intelligence. Keen senses, built-in "compasses", uber-fast mandibles, etc. are neat skills, but have little to do with how smart the animal is.

Not saying that these animals aren't intelligent; I'm sure they are. However, the title of the article is a bit of a misnomer.
