Niju growled and got to his feet. He smirked as two wolves that hadn't been fighting anyone attacked Steele and held him down. "What's a matter? Thought I'd play fair? I'm the bad guy." he said and put his claw to Steele's throat.

Suddenly three more dogs ran in and knocked the wolves off Steele, three dogs who were once his best friends.

OOC: I think you know who they are, mind playing one of them?

OOC: Sure.

Kaltag nodded and helpped Steele up. "You looked like you needed help." he said. "And you were helpping protect us. That was brave, amazing, spectatular, it was the most-"

"It was brave!" chimmed in Star, who then braced himself for a hit from Kaltag but Kaltag didn't hit him.

"You got that right!" said Kaltag.

Kaltag nodded. "We'll cover you." he said. "Show that wolf whos boss." he said and jumpped on the nearest wolf.

Star looked at Nikki. "Mind helpping me? I'm too small." he said before jumpping on the nearest wolf and biting his ear.

Niju growled at Steele. "Bring it!" he yelled and jumpped on Steele.

OOC: This would probably be were the battle completely turns in the favor of the town sense Steele's starting to get accepted again that might give him confidence.

Jullie, Kodi, Balto, Fang, and Aleu howled too. Jullie ran up to her mate and nuzzled him. "Good job honey." she said. "You ok?" she asked, knowing he was probably still sore from Niju's low blow.

Several humans came up and started petting the dogs, Steele's old owner came up and put a collar back around his neck and pet him. "Good job Steele, think you'd mind coming back to be my dog?" he asked, proud. "You're past racing age but I think you'd still have a good place on one of our mail teams."
