Mel was pacing the length of the boat. "How do we know that they'll going to arrive today?"

"Well it is Balto's birthday," Dixie said. "And they wouldn't miss that for the world."

"Look!" Kodi said, pointing to the boat with his muzzle. "There's Dad's boat." He smiled at Scout before taking off running toward his family.

Aleu was carrying Ana, her and Maria had naturally fell asleep. She gentally woke her up. "Ana, we're home."

Dingo ran off with his brother, as did Miki.

Maria slowly wake up. She yawned widely then smiled. "We're home!" she said excitedly, jumping off Aleu's back and running in her older siblongs' paw tracks.

Danielle watched as the boat slowly came closer into view from Aleu's back.

"Of course," Scout said, taking Danielle from Aleu's back and placing her by his side.

Kodi ran up onto the boat. "We've been out looking for the ulitmate gift for you, Dad," he said with a smile before nuzzling both his parents. "But I think we're all glad to be back home."

Balto cocked his head. "Really?" he asked. "Well I don't know what it is but if you went through a lot of trouble for me, that's a gift in itself."

"We have such sweet pups." said Jenna.

"Well what did you get your father?" asked Silvie.

"Got any crazed rambling to put in about this Mel?" asked Dipsy, wanting a laugh.

"Besides, we really wanted to get this for you," Saba said sweety, her bad moon rubbing off now that she was in Nome.

"Oh, you'll see," Kodi said to Sylvie with a mystiviously smile.

Mel huffed. "No, I;m fine, thank you," he said.

"You ready?" Scout said to his daughters before walking up the ramp that led to the boat.

Sara and Danielle followed behind their father.

Kodi waited for all three of his new family members before saying, "Mom. Dad. This is Scout. Our grandfather." He smiled, waiting for his father's reaction.

Balto's eyes went wide. He came over to Scout and sniffed him over. He reconized his scent, despite how many years it had been. "D-dad?" he asked, shocked.

"Grandfather?" asked Jenna, equally as suprised. She waited for Scout to respond.
