A mate for DERWENT!

Okay so Iv had this guy for god knows how long - proberly about 4 years and never made a mate for him! So im looking for a girl for him who is both reasuring and gentle


RULES

must no be a wolf or wolfdog of any kind and try to stay away from pure bred huskys or alsations

Must be female because I plan them to have some pups

Bio must be completed with picture - DO NOT SAY I WILL FINISH LATER

Picture of your char with Derwent gains extra brownie points

Must be older then 2 - can be as old as you want

CAN be related to balto and other charecters

DERWENT Hardly any info on him becuase he is very old charecter

Age: around 2 years old - his mum and dad were only young when they had him and are around 4/5 years old today

Breed: mix between two pure breeds - blue merle and possibly a golden retreiver

Personality?: impossibly polite and good natured - they isnt a bad bone in him.he lets you down a bit if you rely on him too much but otherwise he is a hearthrob to females and a submissive friend to the males.He gets very shy and uptight about his secrets and his life though and is somewhat reluctant to show his true self or reveal history about him unless your a close friend or he realy trusts you. He can be obsessive about a few things and can often forget his friends/mate so they musnt be too clingy or reliant on him.

Past relationships/crushes Has a small crush on Jenna when younger but disregarded this once balto was in the scene - plus steel put him off a bit. Has a interest in Nappa and Continent but knows that these femles might not be the best for him

Hmm, I may try out but the only problem is that the female I am thinking of entering is related to a Balto character. Is that all right? And another thing, the 'quote' option in the bio... is that for our characters or..? lol

Name: Tivona

Age: 3 years

Breed: Australian Shepard

Personality: Tivona is alittle bit distant from her family. She doesnt like to talk to them much or tell them about her life. She isnt very aggressive unless she feels pressured. She loves to be in the outdoors and is alittle shy. She is afraid to meet new people but will. She doesnt like to be rude and if she is rude then she always regrets it.

History: Tivona was adopted by a small family. The family consisted of a pilot father, stay-at-home mother, tennis daughter, and track son. They didn't have any pets except a cat. Felix, the cat, raised Tivona in a way. He taught her how to do things and what to do when in certain situations. Tivona was put up for adoption by her mother after her father left. She sees her mother every once in a while. Her brother Caine picks on her alot and her brother Tristen is like her best friend.

Why they should be Derwents mate: Well tivona doesn't havve a mate yet. She is a new charrie and I'd like her to have more developement. I think Derwent is very unique and would like Tivona. I also think hteir markings would make adorable pups.

How they meet: They meet at one of her brother's agility contests. Tivona was wathcing Tristen compete when she noticed Derwent a few people down watching the show as well. She felt something for him. She wanted to talk to him so bad and got the courage to walk over to him. She walked behind him so she could sit on the other side of him, but she tripped and fell. Embaraased now, she turned red. Derwent turned around and helped her up. They began talking and became friends. Then later after a few times seeing each other, became mates.

Name: Juneau

Age: 5 yrs.

Breed: Chinook

Personality: Not so much a feminist as dogs think when they look at her. She believes females should have a right to doing the same things as males but must - absolutely must - take a backseat and let their mates do whatever they want, no matter how good or bad it is. Because of her way of thinking, Juneau isn't too popular with other dogs. She is a pacifist and hates fighting. She can be obsessive over her tiny crushes and is driven to the extremes when one of her crushes, Nikki, found himself a girl. She is strong though and usually beats on either her brother or Chester. She doesn't like talking as much as Kaltag but does have a knack for gossiping.

She got together with Steele and had two pups with him. Unfortunately he proved to be a poor mate and father and left Juneau caring for their pups. Since that day he left her, Juneau has closed up and doesn't talk to anyone anymore. She tries to be a good mother but it's hard for her to even look her pups in the eyes sometimes. She doesn't obsess anymore, so she claims but there are days when the dogs find her wandering around Nome whispering 'Steele' over and over.

Why they should be Derwents mate: I think Derwent could help bring Juneau out of her depression and make her like how she was before - maybe even better and less obsessive.

How they meet: Derwent met Juneau in the boiler room crying. He didn't really know her but he knew that Chester was an acquantice of hers and he had just recently died, so he thought she was crying over him. He decided to be polite about it and offered Juneau some comfort when he noticed her two pups sitting next to her. He asked her why she was crying and she said it was because Steele (the father of her pups) had left her. Distraught because he remembered Steele and how the dog made Derwent push his feelings for Jenna aside. He offered some words of encouragement and since then has noticed Juneau showing up in the same places as he is.

Scared he finds her in the boiler room one night and asks politely if she could leave him alone. She says that she doesn't have anyone else to look after her. Feeling pity for her, Derwent tries his best to support Juneau and to try and encourage her back on her feet. Then one led to another and yeah... xD

Breed: 1/2 Borzoi and 1/2 Kishu Inu
Personality: Flirty and a show-off. Kind of shy, but isn’t like her parents. Izzy has a large imagination, and is a wonderful story teller. She can make anything into ‘magic’ as her friends call it. When playing games she seems to make the best story lines. Though she can be a bit stubron, when people change it to much. The type who thinks everything has a reason, and a place. She is very organized aswell, and tends to be a perfectionist. Isadori can hold a grudge, as long as she feels nessacary, and will let you know she is mad at you

Why they should be Derwents mate: Isadori is convinced all males are like derrek, and what she thinks her father is. Since Derwent is so kind, he could show her not to think like that, although it could take awhile, her mind is hard to change. Izzy really needs a guy who is gentle, and that she can respect. (since when she is younger, she decided all guys were the same, and she would live with out them)
How they meet: Izzy gets upset when all of her friends, found, seemingly nice guys. So they stoped hanging around her as much. Looking for someone to talk to, she randomly picks Derwent out of the crowd and approaches him. She greets him rudely, but to her surpise he doesn’t do the same. The two get talking, Izzy really surprised he hasn’t made a move on her yet. Seeing as he didn’t have a partner, she hung around him, her girlfriends all busy with their own lives. Isadori and Derwent got to be really good friends, when Izzy found herself liking him, being to stubborn to admit it.

Breed: Icelantic sheepdog, chow
Personality: Both girly and tom-boy..ish. She's girly in ways that she likes looking her very very best, having friends, liking Gossip, thinks like that, but also likes her job on the ship, loyal, and Trusting. She's smart but not smart-alec, just smart about what she does and what she dosn't do. She dosn't get many friends being all over the place and such, but she does try to make friends in the places she goes. That way, she'll know somebody when the ship docks at regular places. She tries not to have pups and get crushes or gets a mate, because she is constantly leaving and arriving at other places. But being on the ship and killing the rats (wich is her job) she's brave. So she's not afriad of drowning, storms, bad weather, mice, rats, bugs or any animal smaller than her.

Why they should be Derwents mate: I think they would match well by colors and I also almost got rid of her. She lost a contest about siblings, but I liked her design so much I just HAD to keep it. Plus, I really like derwent.
How they meet: Vem was herding a few sheep near a farm her owners had when she decided to take a break and rest for a few miniutes and catch her breath. She met Derwent coming along the trail and he asked if she was lost. She said no she was just resting. They talked for a bit, but when she got up, her paw twisted and was injured. She could walk but not run well. Derwent helped her herd the sheep back to the farm.

Dakota Great choice of charecter - herbio compliments derwent well and those fanpups are gorgeaus!

Lone Love Isadoris charecter - her design is stunnng and the fan pup very creative - never would of thought of them colours her back story is original too

Zappy spot on with the fanpup there and Zem is such a beautifully coloured charecter - her personality is nice too

Parents: don't want to go back that far in the family tree lol

Personality: Intelligent, diligent, meek but loves to enjoy the comforts of others, has a strong sense of what is right and wrong. She ‘talks quietly but carries a very big stick’ (if you have ever heard the saying before.) She often tries to draw others out of their shells. Will talk a lot if she has to, she will speak her mind. Compassionate and very understanding. She is slightly naiive in her trusting ways. likes to stay clean. She is really proper compared to many other down and dirty girls and trys to look her best expecially around company. Only speaks of things she knows she would rather not rant about something she is oblivious to and look like and idiot. She is good at keeping secrets and will never tell a soul. Hate gossip and finds it rather useless if someone wanted you to know something they will come right out and say it. She never looks down upon anyone and finds the company of lower class dogs/wolves just as enjoyable as the upper class.

History: She was bought by a man who has a drinking problem and wanted a good German Shepherd to guard his property. He raised her to have a strong sense of right and wrong. Reba was happy with her home except when her master got drunk. She quickly learned that she needed to be by his side and help him through the house when he was drunk. He sometimes would beat her and that made her shy and scared most of the time. Then one day Maxwell came in her life. He was a dog that a family ditched by Reba's driveway. Maxwell was a Norwegian Elkhound. Reba's master took him in as he saw it he got a free work dog. Maxwell was hyper and wasn't house trained so Patrick (there master) kept him outside. Maxwell would often travel the streets at night causing all sorts of ruckus. He was a free spirit with a love for adventure but he was attracted to the shy and rather 'snooty' looking Reba. Reba was very wary of this new dog that seemed to anger her master. But when she eventually did end up talking to him he suprised her with how intelligent and compassionate he really was.

After being together for a while Reba and Max decided they wanted to have pups of their own. When Reba's master finds out about her pregnancy he didnt know what to do. He didnt want her to have pups and he was drunk. Patrick took Maxwell out into the woods tied him up to a tree and shot him. Reba was devistated. She was terrified of Patrick and hated him with every inch of her being but she didnt know what to do. When Reba gave birth to 6 beautiful pups Patrick tried to take them. he beat Reba off of them and he went and threw them away in a dumpster near a trader shack. Reba broke out of the home and went in search of her beloved children. She never found them.

After that Reba travelled from town to town a bit until she joined a gang of dogs. Bridon was a dog raised in the wild and did whatever he wanted. Reba joined his group of friends and was kind of like a mother making sure they all were safe and had food to eat. Reba would goof around with them every now and then though and show them a more playful side that no one ever knew she had. Then Bridon saved Ferdinand. Ferdi and Reba grew to love eachother very much. They eventually had a son, Ferbi.

Ferdinand wasn't ready for that kinda commitment and Reba understood and at first tried raising him with the gang members because she wanted him to know his father but in the end it was too hard for her and she left the gang with Ferbi... who is angry at his father cause he didn't understand the pain Reba was going through, having to raise a pup as she watched her ex-mate live his life. Ferdinand still did love Reba though and Ferbi but this made everything awkward. Reba later abandoned Ferbi near a small town. Reba then hated her life and disappeared into the mountains...

Why they should be Derwents mate: Reba has been through 2 really bad heartbreaks and I think Derwent is the perfect guy for her. <3 He is so sweet and polite things that really attract Reba and he doesnt seem like the type that will hurt her.

How they meet: When Reba leave her son Ferbi behind she becomes very depressed again and Derwent finds her sobbing near the edge of the forest. He has no idea where she is from all he knows is that she came from the woods. Derwent feels compassion for the poor girl and goes to ask if there is any way he can help. Reba becomes very embarrased by her current state. She was crying covered in mud and didnt smell the best. Reba closed up and didnt say anything all she did eas nod stupidly to Derwent when he asked her to follow him. Reba stood up and followed him. Derwent acts as a very kind gentleman and gives her some food and cleans her up.

Other: Maxwell was her first mate (deceased as stated above) She was also mates with Ferdinand (c) Kolton for a while

As my character: Because I wanted Fly Boy to have parents. So I created them and just left them sit there in my computer file and forgot about them until one day I was in a creative mood and wanted to create a new character when I saw Reba in my file and made her and Maxwell a history and personality. But I decided that I didn't want her and Maxwell to stay together after Fly Boy and London were born.
