A friend of mine said this once: "Life is like a cartoon". And now that I see it, he's right. And the question for you guys is this one:
Did anyone of you have experience some of the situations from one of episodes of Talespin in real life?

If for the situation from Talespin can be my dad's repeating extremely rude behaviour and domination above us and my mom - like the Spigot does - yes. (I won't compare my dad to Karnage - yes, the wolf Prince of Pirates is outlaw, but he's got at least a honor... ;/)

Wow, and I thought that only those situations happened on movies.

And he rebuilt the plane too fly again. Another would be an RNZAF C-47 that collided with a bomber, lost half a wing and still went in for a textbook landing, the bomber crew weren't so luck and not all bailed out.

Amazing story GroundedAviator. Really amazing.

Now I'll tell my situation. But in my case there has been similarities that I had with the situations in which the characters of the series had been involved.
One of them is that my father and my mother display the behavior of Baloo and Rebecca. I started to laughed about this when I realized it after watching the series for a hold month.
My dad is really responsible unlike Baloo, but he displays the easygoing attitude that he has and everytime likes to make jokes about situations or of other people. He also is a little careless, because he forgets important stuff like the keys or even important papers when he works in his office before his patients arrive.
But my mom it's the total representation of Rebecca Cunningham, believe it or not. She's really strict with everything she does, to the point that she gets out of her nerves when something doesn't go the way she planned. And the most important, she's too stubborn to admit when she's wrong. And when my dad does something like forgetting his stuff, or when he is busy in his relaxation and doesn't pay attention to her. You can recreate any discussion of the series, that both characters had.

It's quite curious, isn't it.

Another I remember from somewhere is of a C-130 crew of the USAF who got chased by a Mig-17 over Nam and they forced it to crash into a cliff, the fighter pilot certainly died.
