(This is the day after Hatima and Kisasi became mates.) Kisasi lept up onto a large, flat rock and lay down next to Hatima in the sun. I can't believe the love of my life agreed to be my mate He thought happily.

Kisasi shot after her into the tall grass. "I'll catch you if it's the last thing I do!" he yelled after her. He ran faster, slowly catching up to her. Once he got close enough, he made a tremendous leap and tackled her. They rolled around in the grass for a few minutes before coming to a stop. "Told you I would catch you," Kisasi said with a cocky grin.
