Hello everyone! I have enjoyed a couple years of being on the sources, but only recently had a spark of interest in a multitude of graphics including: avatars, banners, signatures, and desktops. This was really inspired when Bambi Source was first released and a few other artists submitted graphics. (Including the amazing Dee. ;3) Anyway, because of this I decided to start some of my own...

My tools of trade:
- Gimp 2.6.11
- Paint XP (normal Paint download for Windows 7)
- Photofiltre
- Mypaint
- Bamboo Pen Tablet

I'll start at the begining as I feel that you should always post your earliest and worst to show where you've come from and where you've been... ;3

Signature - time: 10- 15 min. - mostly transparent style

#2:

Desktop - made: April 2011 - time: roughly 30- 60 min. - normal

#3:

Avatar - made: April 2011 - time: roughly 30- 60 min. - normal (experimented to find a way to "black line" on Gimp...)

#4:

Avatar - made: May 2011 - time: 20 min. - color on greyscale style

#5:

Desktop - made: May 2011 - time: 10- 15 min. - normal

#6:

Signature - made: May 2011 - time: 30 min. - normal

#7:

Avatar - made: June 2011 - time: 10 min. - normal

#8:

Signature - made: June 2011 - time: 15 min. - tinted (Red)

#9:

Avatar - made: June 2011 - time: 10 min. - simple

#10:

Avatar - made: July 2011 - time: 8 min. - simple (test with photofiltre)

#11:

Avatar - made: July 2011 - time: 30 min. - normal (test with photofiltre)

Avatar - made: July 2011 - time: 15 min. - simple Avi (Using one of my favorite screenshots. < 3)

Signature - made: December 2011 - time: 1 hour - simple

I would really love comments on my progress. Also, to those who use Gimp and Paint, I would especially love to hear your critique and suggestions, as I'm always continuing to learn ways to make effects. Thanks for taking the time to look! ;3

Wow! I gotta say i love your style of graphics :3 The Bambi sig is my favorite X3

And in GIMP (i use nothing but Paint and GIMP) have you tried using some of the effects in Filters? Some effects like the NewsPrint effect can give you a really cool colorful pattern you can fade onto your graphic :3

But from what i can see your graphics are very well done! ^^

That's what I've been experimenting with, but it's taking time and patience to be able to "bend" the filters to my design. Newsprint is one of the filters that I've been fiddling with lately, but I just haven't quite figured out how to work with it.

Two graphics added for July... Also, I now use a program called Photofiltre as well. ;3

One new graphic added for late July. I really love this one. < 33 ;3

Wow, these are all fantastic! I love the Bambi signature and the Dodger avatar! And, well, everything is flippin' fantastic! ^_^

That new signature is amazing. I can't see a single thing wrong with it! It's flawless!

Thanks Moki. ^_^ I feel like the text is blurred too much... and I'm going to play with the height of the graphic, but other than that I'm pleased. ;3
