This topic is based on an ideal of mine... "The best way to breath new life into an old character is to first start out with a new design." I honestly can't list how many characters that I almost trashed, but took the time to give them a redesign. Most of the time I find that I like the design and choose to keep the older character and fix them up again. So, this is my redesign topic to help you love your old characters again. C; I frequently keep my eyes open on adoption topics for characters that have a good base (colors, markings, breed) for me to work with and will redesign them for my entry. I only keep the redesign if the user that I'm adopting that character from accepts the redesign, but here are two examples. Both are entries that I'm currently putting together.

What will I accept?

- Old characters
- Characters that you're redesigning to put up for adoption
- Characters that are already up for adoption
- Realistic colored and designed canines overall

What will I Not accept?

- Sparkle dogs (Sorry, but I prefer realistic colors over unrealistic ones.)
- Poor references (I prefer to have as many images for reference as possible.)
- Characters that you Don't own and/or have permission to redesign.

What can you expect?

- A thought out design with attention to key markings
- Short-long wait times as I won't give you something that I'm not satisfied with
- I use lineart, but that's because of my limited time to draw.
- Any super "bright" colors will be changed to be more muted according to their design and colors.

As long as the character fits these requirements you are welcome to submit characters, but please, only one character per person per request. I will keep a list of them and will only accept three character redesigns at a time. Other than that, I hope that the redesigns help you to love your characters again and give them new lives and stories accordingly. :3

Things i'd like to keep the same: Colors, facial markings (but please play around with them a bit), he needs to be a bit spotty. He doesn't need to be handsome because he is supposed to be a bit on the uglier side.... he needs to have teeth sticking out too xD

Breed: Mutt (Australian Shepherd x American Pitbull Terrier mix)
Things I'd like to keep the same: all his colors but the light brown, just keep the three other colors, oragish, light black and light grey, and the "half colored" body, see the back half is light grey while the frontal half is light black.
