~ Rules ~

1. No fighting, begging, or harassing, please.

2. Be respectful of all other members, no matter how rough you brush up against them.

3. Please do Not post that you are going to enter. (You May post questions about the characters, but only for that.)

4. You must use the character(s) that you adopt. (I will check AS before taking them back, but anything you post of them on deviantart Must be Pmed to me as I had to leave Da due to viruses and malware.)

5. I only accept traditional or digital drawings or renders. I do Not accept linearts, though. (I’m looking for a desire to use the character and someone who will truly take good care of them. A player who can barely draw a dog could be a winner if they have that desire to use the character. I don’t judge on how well you can draw.

)

6. I would prefer that at least one of the traditional/digital drawings be colored either digitally or with colored pencils/crayons/etc, but it isn’t absolutely required.

7. Please only submit a finished entry. You can always edit it.

8. Please do Not Pm me your entry. Questions should also be posted below.

9. If you continue to not follow the rules your entry will not be considered. You will also not be permitted to adopt characters if you continue these actions, even after I’ve given you multiple chances. (I’m fair, honest, and considerate, but there is no reason why you can’t follow the rules.)

10. You may adopt these characters to keep and use on DA, but you must specify...

Additional Rules that apply:
- Both Emi and Celestial_Rose can submit a basic bio and one image at the least for one pup if they want as my thanks to them for allowing me to adopt Buckthorn and Agatha.
- The bio I have provided must be filled out entirely. (There might be a few blanks, but try to keep them to only a few.)
(NOTE: I’m not entirely satisfied with Farley, Hedessa, and Ian’s designs so they might change, but if I do, you will not be required to redo the images that you’ve already submitted.)

Some things to note:
- I will be keeping Cressida and she will inherit the light blue bandanna from her grandmother on Agatha’s side.
- I really love Erin, so you’ll have to really work hard to get her. I decided I’d give you guys a chance though.
- Agatha’s parents don’t have pages yet (mostly because I’m still working on Zedachi’s designs… Pm me if you’d like to help.), but here’s an image of Mariana. (She really has a build like Jenna’s, but I used a render I had on my laptop.)
- Buckthorn lives in White Mountain, Alaska and Agatha lives in Nome, Alaska so the pups can live in either place or anywhere nearby.
- Hedessa’s name can change, but I’d prefer that you keep it an “h” name to fit the family pattern. :3
- I would prefer you keep their names, but I’m open to hear second names or names that start with the same letter.
- Buckthorn and Agatha are truly committed mates and will never abandon/turn down their children. Even if the pups do something wrong, their parents always accept them with love, affection, and support.
- All of the pups' "Floppy Ears" would really be like their father's half-floppy ears. Look at their father's profile to see what I mean... Buckthorn (From their Border Collie side.) Sorry I didn't add that earlier... ^_^'

- Name can be changed.

4. Rafael
- Originally adopted from Ditto_girl (now known as “FiddleFox”)’s gallery.
- Only things that need to stay are his designs and design credit of FiddleFox.
- Name can change.

5. Unnamed
- Originally created for Aniu’s_girl’s contest, but she didn’t win.
- I don’t need her anymore, but Aniu’s_girl can have her.
- Designs and name can be changed.

6. Duke
- One of Felicity’s siblings. (I’m currently redesigning his other siblings Seth and Caramel.)
- Siblings and parents must stay.
- I would prefer that his name stay, but I’m welcome to possibilites.
- You can tone down his colors and edit his markings, but nothing extremely drastic.

7. Ceana
- In the end... I don't really use her, and I want her to go to someone who will use her...
- Parents (Steele x Espionage) must stay.
- I would like for her name to stay the same, but I'm open for all possibilities. ;3
- Her designs can be toned down/edited, but preferable not entirely. (Her lower leg markings need to change...)

8. Zaranaia
- Made to be the daughter of Niju and Aleu... (I've only seen WQ once many years ago, but I created Zara when I was bored.)
- Designs can be slightly modified, but need to stay the same for the most part.

Yes, you're allowed to change her ears.

(I just did them all differently so that everyone wouldn't make all the pups' ears the same... Really any "floppy ears" of the pups would be ears with the top-half flipped over. [Like their father.]) I'd be willing to see what you had in mind for another name... but I will remind you that I still like her. (I'm still open to entries though.

How they feel about their parents: Hint is terrified of her parents. She's not one to talk and her parent's cheery friendly personalities make her extremely nervous. She won't avoid them though because she loves them dearly.

History: Ever since Hint was a pup she felt not quite like she fit in with the family. She was always scared of friendliness and talking. She always whispered and never yelled and she was anal about following rules and would sometimes scold her siblings silently. Hint eventually started sneaking out at night to get some space from her homelife. Part of her was drawn to December's snow coverd forest. As time passed Hint would go for walks in the forest at night she found a spot that was absolutely beautiful and quiet.

The moonlight dripped down the isicles that hung from nearby trees. Their reflections danced all around the tiny medow. Hint had found some old broken colorful bottles and like she had seen before she alligned them all so that light would reflect and hit them at different angles creating different colors. The beatiful artificial aruroa danced on the snow and threw the icicles and made that small medow beautiful.

How they feel about their parents:He loves them very much but will never admit it, his parents are his role models but he often tries to be better than everyone so that he can feel that he deserves their praise. Dae is very distant from his parents though.

History: Dae was born along with his six siblings and loving parents. He had a great childhood he was quickly adopted and made friends at an early age. Molley Faye (sorta friends), Static, and Flamingo. As Dae grew him and Molly Faye grew appart as he was showing dominant flashes. Flamingo was manipulative and often competed with MF for attention. Dae granted Flamingo all the attention she wanted when they started dating.

Their relationship was a pathetic one to say the least. Dae and Flamingo often found themselves arguing and planning against eachother and yet they couldn't help but feel an odd attraction for the other.Maybe it was the dominant factor that ran through their blood. Wolf genes made Dae have a few ticks in his behavior and personality. While in Flamingo's case she was born to a long line of champion dog figting bloodlines, only to be smuggled away from her destiny in the ring.

Static was the gory artist of the group, he was more openly sensitive about things and had a colorful vocabuary. Dae used him as a chew toy often and Static was often found with bloody bitemarks down his back. Static and Dae had an odd friendship as Static was squirly and would pick fights with many of Nome's dogs. But Static's family also had their time in the dog fighting ring.

The trio were often called 'Ring Rats'. They joined a dog fighting group, ran by dogs eventually when they were older and cockier. At first Dae wouldn't let his friends fight, his large body and thick neck fur gave him an advantage in the ring as opposed to his dobbie cross friends. The object of this fighting was to win girls, territory, or just to settle disputes. Dae didn't have any turf to bet as he wasn't part of any real gang and he had a master. So he bet Flamingo... He lost. He lost her.

After that fight against Fran, a saint Berrnard-esque female, Flamingo didn't come back not for days and when she did she ignored Dae and only really talked to Static. Flamingo was sad and angry. Dae appologized but wasn't able to get her to come back around. Dae left the group then, he couldn't take it seeing his girl all sad because of him tore him up inside. Dae ran into trees on purpose trying to get the images of her out of his head. Molly Faye noticed her forelorn friend from her childhood.

Faye comforted Dae and they talked. He found the nerdy female to be charming and she had beautiful violet eyes that reminded him of the summers they spent playing by the old pond in his backyard. He eventually had to go home but Dae made sure to invite her to chase frogs sometime. It was a silly thing to ask but he knew it would bring back old memories. As the week went on Dae lost hope that Faye would have any interest in him.

On the Monday of the next week Molly Faye did show up. Dae couldn't help but notice how beautiful she had become. Her russet hair spiked up and showed off her eyes that shimmered the pond's reflection. Catching frogs became a lot more than just catching frogs. Dae would purposely slip so that Faye would trip and land on him. Their flirting became a lot more heated as the day went on. Faye finally after blushing for hours on end suggested to go on a jog. They went down the little path of Dae's backyard. The were jogging slowly and unconsciously kept scooting closer to one another on corners until Dae tripped this time on accident.

Dae was mad for being such an idiot. He limped a bit when he walked but he should be fine, him and Molly Faye decided that it would be time for them to head home. As time went on Dae and Molly became closer. Dae started to feel better about himself. This little nerdy girl became his life. But he couldn't help but still love Flamingo, he would watch her from affar. This made things difficult for him and he couldn't help the fact that he pretended Faye was Flamingo sometimes.

Dae and Molly Faye became mates only to soon realize that Dae and his master would be moving in a few months. This put pressure on the young male and lead to many sleepless nights and stupid mistakes. Dae wanted to be a father and he wanted Flamingo to be the mother. He and Flamingo secretly started a family. By the time Flamingo had pups Dae was already on a bush plane that would take him out of Alaska. Molly never new of this meeting and she sobbed herself to sleep for many nights.

When Dae reached Alabama he was forlorn and terrified.

Other: When he is a pup one of his ears with be semi-perked but as he grows older both of his ears will be up.

Eshari/Early is very big on respect and will argue if she is not shown the respect she thinks she deserves.

I'm glad that you like their designs so much Rush!! Don't worry! You're the only one who has even shown any interest in my characters at all. (Other than Dizzy [Aniu's_girl], of course.

) I can't guarantee you getting all three depending on entries, but I'm hoping more people will join...

How they feel about their parents: Adores her father Buckthorn and loves when he tells her stories from his digs. Early is very close to her mother and usually will go to visit her.

History: Early was loved by her parents and she loved them just as much, she didn't have to suck up like her brother Dae would because she knew that they loved her. Early was quickly adopted for her cute pelt colors and and friendly personality. She was put to work guarding an old man's property with a slightly older male named Gibbs. Gibbs was a smart and picked on Early lightly but he knew better than to make her hate him, as they were going to be living together.

Early and Gibbs would patrol around his land. The land had grown since Gibbs was adopted the ol' man inherited more land from and even older relative. The land was seperate, Gibbs was trained to walk towards the forest up towards White Mountain to gaurd the land, this left the ol' man's front lawn expossed to the rascally children of Nome. This required a second dog.

Gibbs trained Early how to watch the front yard and how to get the mail and told her that the ol' man takes a nap at noon. After that she was free to roam town. Early would often visit her mother during that time and would be home by the time school was out so that she could chase kids off the lawn and eat supper. As Early grew she wanted to take on more responsibilities to help Gibbs. The other land was large and usually tired Gibbs out, he also wanted to be able to see his auntie Chey again so Gibbs and Early switched watch duties.

They would switch every month or so. When the winter months hit it became harder to travel, but Early pressed on knowing that it was her duty. One of these days was especially windy causing loose snow to fy up in the air and sting Early's nose and ears. She decided to bunker down in an abondoned badger's nest. It was warm and dark in there. Early couldn't help but slip into a rather deep slumber. When she woke up that's when she saw him. His white fur shone and blended with the beautiful winter background. He walked very carefully but also gracefully. His large paws left perfect footprints in the drifted snow banks.

Muffled howls were heard around Early's resting spot. She heard the name Drifter being yelled in the background. The wolf's ears instantly turned to the noise and then his face did. His deep emerald eyes met her sky blue ones. She held his eyes in a long stare, he almost seemed frightened. Early yipped with fright when she heard something walking above her den. Drifter gave her a concerned look before chauffeuring the other wolf (presumably) away. Early waited a while before leaving she kept the wolf sighting to herself for a while.

When Early returned to her guard every morning she wasn't sure weither to be frightened or scared she rethought the sighting over and over, eventually she talked to Gibbs about it. He had grown to be her most trusted friend and acted as a big brother over her. Sure he was a little persnickety but thats what Early loved about him. Gibbs had an instant mood swing. Wolves were his nemisis' but even though he has never met one he hopes to one day be able to kill them.

He asked Early where she had seen them, but Early didn't want the unfairly judged wolf or her brother figure to get hurt so she refused to tell him. This resolved the problem momentarily... Gibbs had no chance facing a wolf out in the deep snow anyways. Early ventureed quickly to the territory as she was running late one morning. The snow was starting to melt and spring was nearing. She was hoping to see the wolf one last time befor Gibbs started his shift the following week.

Thats when he found her, he didn't say anything and he didn't have to. They seemed to be on the mutual grounds to not hurt one another. His white coat had a few blood spots on it the rabbit at his feet was explination enough. When other wolves could be heard, Drifter gave Early a stern stare and gave a swift head nod signalling her to leave. Early was happy to ablige and hide. She layed very still inside of a rotted log and listened. A female voice was heard. She sounded sharp and a little harsh on the handsome Drifter. She spoke of pests that needed to be removed. She spoke of how these pests had no manners, "leaving their scent all over the deer's grazing areas". She told Drifter that it was his job to remove them and that if he didn't she would send someone else to do it.

Early realized that her and Gibbs were the pests! But yet she couldn't hate Drifter (as he chose not to kill her) nor the female wolf. They were only trying to survive after all and her and Gibbs were just making it harder. Drifter followed the female voice back into the forest and Early eventually went home. During Gibbs' month of gaurd duty Early thought about her dreamy 'hero' Drifter but also worried about Gibbs. She hoped he wouldn't run into any of the wolves.

Personality: Erin is a very rough girl. She loves to live on the wild side of things, and is never ready to say no to a challenge or a game. In fact, she takes life as a game, and nothing less. Even though she is outrageous at times, Erin is very courteous, and will stop anything if shown to be impolite. Always uses ‘thanks’ and ‘please’, even if she is in a fight. Erin is very forgetful, so depend on her too much.

Likes: Playing, Games, Her life.

Dislikes: Getting hurt, scars, being bored.

Mother: Agatha

Father: Buckthorn

Siblings: Cressida, (added after contest…)

Mate/Crush: None at the moment.

How they feel about their parents: Erin, as a pup was very close to her Father. She only listened to him and him only. Her mother was completely ignored in her child hood, she regrets this greatly. Erin hasn’t spent time with their parent for a while, and is afraid they would be to detached from her if she went back

History: As a child, Erin was always the one out on her own, or leading her siblings around into what usually, ended in someone getting hurt. Even though it wasn’t so, her and her brother Ian were labelled twins, being the two who stuck together and both red siblings of the litter. Erin seemed to always pick on her siblings, but was never punished or bothered about it as it never got bad.
Once of age, Erin decided to live with her father along with a few siblings. She loved her father to death, and was very happy at his side. But, Buckthorn’s owner got tired of the extra dog and sold Erin and Ian to a younger man who lived out of town.

The man was fine two the siblings, yet he had a lot of other dogs. ALOT of other dogs. Erin and Ian were crowed and forgotten. They got sick, under weight. One afternoon, the man fell asleep while smoking and the cigar caught the house on fire. Most of the dogs, and the man did not make the fire alive.

Ian and Erin were lost, hungry, weak and scared. They wandered for a few days, and Erin passed out. She woke up to the sound of growling, and to see two dogs fighting. Beside her was Ian eating, and a large curly haired dog. After the fight, and a long chat she found that the curly haired dog, Adrenaline had found them, and token them into his ‘family’. They were being cared by a girl named Oni, who they adopted as a mother figure. Erin wanted to try the thrill of the fight, but Adrenaline would not allow it. They stayed with the group, learning the way of a champion.

Other: Erin was nicked named Alleyway by Adrenaline, he thought Erin was to simple and girly. This stuck to her like glue. Erin also has awfully large paws. Erin is told to wear her collar from her old home for protection of the pound, she hates it.

Why you want to adopt: Actually, I’ve been eyeing this topic for a whiiiiiile... Then I went through a large art block, removed myself from BS a bit, then I noticed this again. Again, the red children caught my eye, decided to try for the lovelies. Plus, I want to update my /newest/ story a bit more.

Personality: Ian is a bit sneaky, and loves to play the biggest and bad tricks. Even with his fun personality, Ian is extremely shy and distrusting. Don’t expect to get a best friend out of Ian right away, your more likely to be snubbed off. Loyalty is one thing Ian got from his father, also his working drive, Ian loves to get down and dirty. Ian is a active nut and loves to go out for a long run along the farms chasing the livestock. Fun, yet Ian gives off a calming sense, and is very good at talking someone to a good energy level.

Likes: Girls, his family, being active, playing tricks.

Dislikes: Being a stray, fighting.

How they feel about their parents:

As a child, Ian was always the glue that seemed to hold everyone in harmony, even though his tricks were played they were accepted. Everyone saw Ian as the calm brother that they could go to. Even though it wasn’t so, him and his sister Erin were labelled twins, being the two who stuck together and both red siblings of the litter. Erin seemed to always pick on her siblings, but was never punished or bothered about it as it never got bad, While Ian was the trickster that made it fun.

Ian dragged his sister to the nearest activity he could find, which happened to be a dog ran fighting ring. He was found by the ‘owner’ outside when he didn’t have enough energy to continue. The fighting scared the dickens out of Ian, but he stayed having no other choice. The siblings were adopted into the champion family, being cared by a light mix breed named Oni, who recently lost her mate. Erin woke up a few days later during a fight. After the fight, and a long chat she found that the curly haired dog, Adrenaline had found them, and token them into his ‘family’. Ian hated the fighting, and would find excuses to get out which usually meant a trip to the near cities to visit family, or go for a run. They stayed with the group, learning the way of a champion. Ian often misses the fights, so he isn’t top priority.
Other: Ian wears a collar, as Dre instructed. He likes it and will often lie saying he is owned to town dogs.

Why you want to adopt: Honestly, his design grew on me. He turned out to be extreamly fun to draw and doodle xD Like Erin, I love his colours.
