Animals, they are beautiful gorgeous and trustworthy. All these things we don't have, although you may disagree. I am christian, so I believe god made the animals, he gave them as a gift to humans as long as we took care of them and treasured them as we treasure other humans. But we have let the animals down and some are now facing extinction. Domestic animals also need our help. Rescue centers are becoming to full and so many animals are cruely being put-down because of limited space. Here are 8 ways on how we humans can try and put right our mistakes, for the animals sake.

Wild animals.

1.Donation-One of the most simplest ways to help is donating money. Money doesn't buy happiness or love. So you can make animals happy and give them love by donating.

2.Adoption-What better thing to do? It's easy and very enjoyable for us humans. Adopting an animal can cost from around 15-35 pounds. I wouldn't know how much that would be in other countries though. When adopting your money will go towards conservation plans and medication for those animals in need and in return you get so many goodies to remind of that beautiful speices you are helping.

3.Habitat Protection-Anyone can do this, it doesn't take much. Protect the trees in your area, pick up litter and for the wilder animals you can help in a conservation group maybe?

4.Helping at your local zoo-Helping out at your local zoo is very exciting experience and I should know. I went to my local zoo with my friend and we were able to take care of the squirrel monkeys XD. It does cost quite a bit but the moeny goes to the animals.Also you learn so mcuh about the animal and if you ask the keeper might just tell you more ways to help out.

Going out and doing something-The final and most difficult way is to go out to an animals true enviroment for me it would be africa. You could take pictures and maybe add an article to a wildlife magazine and give the money to a national wildlife trust. You could film something funny and get £250 to donate! You could also go to a conservation meeting somwhere.(if there is such thing but you know what i meen XD.) Another way is going to maybe a bear rescue center or and orangutan sanctuary for example and help out and donate.

Domestic animals.

1.Think, adopt-Adoption is a good way to help as long as you know what you are doing. Just because you may consider puppies as cuter adults are still as cute and need our help. What is the point of getting a puppy or kitten when you can get an abandoned dog or cat needs support and love.

2.Donation-As I said in the wild section donation is fantastic.It provides the animals in care with food and medication and could even buy new kennels and catterys for them to stay in.

3.Posters and adverts-All you budding artist and graphics designers could make posters to give out to people about these things and people just love hand made things so it will catch attention. Remember ask the animal recue center first if you can.

I adopt and I donate. I'm also trying to plant trees, to make habitat. I would do anything, but it's hard. If I see abandoned or hurt animals, I would rescue them.

I'm glad someone is trying to raise awarness for our beloved creatures. And people will reply. No one has maybe noticed it.

Thank you I have adopted an african wild dog. I also donated £25 to the WWF.

It makes me sad how much these beautiful creatures are going extinct, so I donate to zoos and the WWF. BuildABear Workshop has bears of an endangered species, where if you buy it, it sends 30% to the WWF. I buy those bears, and everytime I go to my local zoo, I donate to the WWf there, and give them money to build more habitats for the animals. I adopt from the shelter most of the time. My dog that I have right now was rescued.

Thats great Angelic! You obviously do a lot to help like me XD. It really really saddens me to see all these animals slowly going away. And rescue animals being put down for no reason.

A family gave us a cat that they didn't want any more.
We took in a cat the was wandering the steets
We got cowarding dog at the animal shelter that no one would prolbadly take.
I teach my neighbor not to rip branches off trees and not to scare squirrels, birds, and deers.

When you mean adoption you don't mean the dogs we adopt here? I know that might be a stupid question but there are such things. But anyway, I adopted both my cat and dog I have now at a rescue shelter. When I was younger at a place I lived in their was a market that would let you donate the money you gave to the market for buying foods to different rescue societies or organistations, my Mom used to always let me pick, and I'd always choose animal organizations.

I bought an African wilddog plush at a zoo, but the company who made them used the money for endangered animal reserves.

Recently my school created a donation box so we could adopt a pig, a tiger, or a wolf. I donated $5 to them. (I don't have much money, so it was the best I could do.) We also had a donation box to help adopt a goat for a needing family in Africa. Whenever my school has these donation boxes out, I donate to them. However, we currently have a donation to help pay for a funeral. One of out students sadly passed away over Spring Break and his parents can't afford a funeral. So I used all my donating money for that today. However, I'm going to find a way to earn more money, so I can help donate for other areas as well.

I've also rescued a Terrier Mix not too long ago as well.

I plan to do more to help in the future, but I'm only 12 at the moment so I can do only so much. Thank you for posting this topic to help people become more aware as well. ;D

At my school, we had a fundraiser for the animals of Madagascar. A Lot of people might think,"Oh, Madagascar! It is soo pretty and there are so many animals!" WRONG. Only like... 1/3(?) of the original Madagascar rain forest is left. Buy ten t-shirts, we save an acre of land. We saved 100 acres of land, but my family bought up to 15 acres of land alone, giving the t-shirt to some homeless dude and friends at my dad's work.

Plus, I rescued my dog, Lucky.
As soon as I quit Girl Scouts, I'm going to volunteer at the Town Lake Animal Shelter, and possibly the local zoo, who rescued some hybrid wolves a month or two ago.

Well.... we adopted my cat tabby, Silver, from the pound. She was going to get put to sleep sooner or alter, figureing she was there to long. Thank goodness my little Silverto is ok.

Whiskers was a stray cat haning around, and we took him in... man hes fat.

Missy was the neighbors cat, and they didnt take care of her.... and she was pregnet. She ahd 4 kittens, and we kept one, two fo them going to my ex-bestfriend and one of them going to my grandma.

I should say I also do this wolf donaation thingy, were you adoption a wolf pup and you cna give it a name and stuff, and you donate 25 dollars a month to help it out.

I take commissions and made a promise to doante some of the money I make to help these causes.
