The ASAs this year will be pretty simple and similar to last years awards. With the exception of that there are more category's since we now have even more sites (Talespin, Princes and The Frog, ADGTH and Spirit) so it's only fair they get their own category too! The awards that fit into those categories are as follows:

Overall Awards:
Wolf Award - The most responsible newbie and one who has shown great pleasure in his or her first month here.
Lion Award - The member who's the most active, while posting useful messages.
Dog Award - The member who posts very few messages, but also the most interesting ones.
Bear Award - Funniest member.
Princess Award - Most helpful member.
Spirit Award - The mod you think does the best job in their area (Not including Admins or contest judges).

If you would like to volunteer to be a judge for next year, please send Conay a pm.

Here is the process:

1. Nominations open up. During the specified dates, you can send in your suggestions for whom you would like to win each award via pm to the judges. You may only nominate ONE person per awards.
2. After the date to finish nominating those you think should win has passed, the judges will tally the votes. The top 6 candidates for each award will then be posted at the top of this topic.
3. Then, you get to pick whom to vote for. You will only be allowed to vote for ONE person per award. Voting will either be pm based, or poll based. (More information on voting will be announced later.)
4. Once voting is finished, the judges tally up the results and announce the winners!

Rules :

1. Nominate only ONE person per award.
2. You CANNOT nominate yourself.
3. Current judges CANNOT be nominated.
4. Members who have won an award in 2009, CANNOT be nominated for the SAME award. They may be nominated for other awards though.
5. You MUST send nominations to the correct judge for the category. If you wish to nominate people in all three categories you will have to send three pms, one for each judge. You can nominate people for as many or as few of the awards as you wish.
6. Send only ONE nomination pm to the judges. Only the first nomination you pm will be counted, so check it well before you send it!
7. Make sure all nominations and votes are in on times. Early/late nominations and votes will NOT be counted.
8. When voting for winners begins, you may only vote for ONE candidate per award. You may vote on each award.
9. You MUST send your votes to the correct judge for the category. If you do not, your vote will not be counted.
10. A member can only win one award per category at a time. In the event that a member has won two awards in one category, they will receive the award in which they had the highest total vote count and the second award will go to the runner up.

Deadlines

1. Saturday 26th December: The nomination period begins at 12:00 AM. Nominations sent before then will not be counted. Nominations must be sent to the correct judge.
2. Tuesday 26th January: The nomination period officially closes. Nominations will not be accepted after 12:00 AM GMT London.
3. Saturday 30th January (or sooner): 6 top Candidates for each award announced.
4. Sunday 31st January: Voting for award winners begins at. Votes will only be counted if sent after 12:00 AM (GMT London) and if sent to the correct judge.
5. Monday 15th February: Voting officially ends. Votes sent after 5:00 PM will not be counted.
6. Sunday 21st February: Official results posted.

This gives you an entire month to nominate and two weeks to vote for your winner.

Hmm... These awards Are good ones. I wonder if I have any qualities that would win me one... No idea though. Let's see who wins them!

Also, is Spirit's mother really called Esperanza? From an official source? All I've seen of that name is from some "popular" artists on dA.

Oh sheesh I hope there's more activity this time, then again the site pretty much died when it got so strict.

I don't follow Spirit, so I just chose name's at random (from the character page). Uk's in control of the Spirit section. She can change the award name if she likes.

Yes. Her name is included in the official books of the Spirit Movie and the official Spirit PC game.
