Animation Source Forums

The "Animation Source" project consists in making sites similar to the ones we already know : Balto Source and The Lion King Source, but applying the same formula to other films/series.

Because I don't have time to do everything myself, and I'm not a fan of every film/series that exists, I have made an interface to make the sites, and I will choose some members who will help making the sites.
Just like the choice of moderators, this choice will be strictly controlled, and the creation process will be too.

I'm going to give the informational side a shot. I don't have that much knowledge of CSS coding so I'll leave that to some other members.

No : CSS knowledge is NOT required, I only said it was recommended. That's the second time someone says that, so I'll probably just remove that part so that you get less confused...

I hate contests... I feel so h...a...p...p...y... I have GIMP 2.6. Will that do any good in this contest... If not, forget it...

Gimp cam make good graphics. I've scene it done before.

Steet: Was we suppose to use that sample template? I made mine from scratch.

No, as long as the elements are at the same place (more or less) and with the same dimensions (more or less)...

I can't be more specific because it depends on the element, the styles are a bit configurable but not everything. We'll just have to see how it works when we will make a first one based on one of the contests pictures sent.

By the way, if you would make Spirit: SotC source just the beginings I would help you do the other things I promise ^_^
Because lots of members asked fot Spirit Source...

I tried to make a 'source' site once, but not one about a film. It's called wolfsource, and it died cause I didn't know a hoot about what I was doin'. It was supposed to be for wolf lovers. No people would be able to communicate except through me.

And boy do I wish I knew anything about graphics in computers, that'd be cool...

And oh, I've been thinkin', a Spirit (stallion of the cimmaron) source would be oober awesome! I LOVE that movie, and I think a lot a folks here do too! But I know steetster will figure out what the film will be for the new source.

I am well seasoned with graphics and I would love the chance to design the graphics for Pony Source. If you click on my signature request link in my signature you will some of my earlier works. I am also working on a site for my Second Life store you can take alook at (it is still under construction) to get a very good idea of my graphics work. Let me know via IM if you would let me work on the graphics for the Pony Source.
