Well, I recently got into the Spirit fandom. I think it's an okay movie so being involved in it won't ruin it for me much, haha.

But anyway, I made a character named Killdeer. He is a mustang like his mother Osprey and his father Finch.

Finch was the leader of a herd that lived relatively close to the up-walkers (their personal term for humans) and he had several mares which he mated with and had a few colts. But Osprey was his favorite.

Killdeer left for a summer when he turned around three. He and a gang of about four other colts from his herd lived many miles from their home to get necessary experiences for becoming adults. He was the unofficial leader of them, and was encouraged to win leadership over his father once fall came around. He agreed to it and fought his father and won.

His father left the herd, but Killdeer was a leader before he was even ready. Because of his lack of experience, he ended up losing his entire herd to the up-walkers. He tried to save them, but failed, and they left on a barabar (their word for train). It was Killdeer's herd that made up nearly half of the horses that pulled the train in the movie.

Now I'm just curious if any of you are interested in submitting any of your characters into his herd. I know alot of your guys' characters have set stories and all that, but this is for whoever doesn't really have any idea of what to do with their characters yet. Yes, the horses end up getting released, but their fate beyond that is unknown.

Name: Aspen

Gender: Mare- female

Age: About four... she was born in the spring of 1871, a year after Aleta

Breed: American Mustang

Color: Sorrel Paint

Personality: Very much a follower. She's a spunky mare but she also has a tendency to get cranky and stubborn... she is extremely stubborn. But she adores Killdeer and Aleta. She is actually very talkative up to the point where can be a bit annoying, but she doesn't really realize when she is. When she's not annoying or stubborn, she's a kind and sweet mare.

History: Her mother was one of the Lakota's horses but her father was a wild mustang. After they had both been captured and Spirit had rescued them, they went into the wild and had Aspen. When Aspen was about three years old, she followed her mother back to the Lakota village. Aspen was too used to the wild so decided to leave her mother and return to the wild. But after traveling on her own, she gets lonely and searches for a herd. She soon stumbles into Killdeer and Aleta.

Other: She eventually gets pregnant with my character Juniper (/spirit/en/chars/Juniper/11261.html). Killdeer could be her daddy if you want (since stallions usually have several mates) or she can meet another stallion.

Its a no, sorry. Its just that having an equisona being involved with one of my characters is basically having YOU involved with one of my characters.
