Oh! one of my favorite movies. :]
I simply adore this movie so much. I love Gabu and Mei, my favorite best friends pairing. [i don't mean romance]
I saw this movie years ago and fell in love with it. It's one of those movies that almost seem like a classic, you know what's going to happen but it draws you in so much that you can't stop watching. The friendship between a goat and wolf is a classic idea but it's portrayed so beautifully in this movie. I love the unique style and animation as well. It seems so detailed and life like and yet it feels like a whole other world.
I recommend this movie to anyone.
I have the dvd in Japanese and Gabu and Mei plushies. :3
On the side note:
There has been talk about official dubbing and subbing it into other languages. At this time there is no official english dub or sub, only fan-made ones. There is a team dubbing it in english on youtube and i might say they are doing a marvelous job, it seems so professional. Here's their chanel:

I don't know for sure but i have heard of a Taiwanese and Swedish version too, dubbed or subbed i can't say.
Personally i don't care for an official english dub...however an official english sub would be enough for me. ^^
