I think we should have a search box where the fanart and images sections are- like this below...



See the little search box? In this box we should be able to search the artist's username, tags for pictures and film character names.
This would benefit many people in an aid to find, perhaps, their friend's gallery or specific lineart.

It would also aid the moderators in a search for a specific artist who may be breaking the rules.

I don't think it would be necessary. The search the site works just fine.

Not nessacerily, as you can only see the words not the actual pictures and the site is less specific; we only see artists names related to what we are searching for, not the actual art.
For example, if I look up "kovu lineart" I get only two things even related to fanart which are two artists, one named Kovu and the other named kovu and vitani

Sounds like a good idea to me. If successful I'd think it would be neat to see a search carried over all of the sections, such as searching for specific things in fan fictions.

The site used to have one. They removed it for some reason, you used to be able to search for artists and such on the fanart/fanimage page, not sure why they removed it though.

I´d be in for bringing back this "Gallery-search". It would save a lot of time like eg, when some member is searching for linearts they should get as a search result all drawings/images with the tag "lineart" in either the submission´s title or description.

It does seem like a good idea.
