If you like Talespin and there's something you would like an answer to, then go there!

/talespin ... &nump=1338

I have added a special section : I had found a way to contact Jymn, and he agreed to answer the questions of the fans!! This is an amazing chance to finally get the answers we've been wondering for ages!

It's really simple, and it works exactly the same as the usual "Ask questions" page.

For information : Jymn Magon also worked on most Disney Afternoon series (Gummi bears, Ducktales, Goof troop, Chip & Dale)

Jymn will soon be doing some webinars on "how to create hit shows", "how to write"...as well as one specifically for the Disney Afternoon fans.

http://finetooning.wordpress.com/jmp-101-creating-hit-shows/

Quote:
* Tips on developing successful animation television series
* Behind-the-scenes anecdotes about some of your favorite Disney shows
* Targeting an audience
* Creating appealing characters
* Questions-and-answers from attendees

Not for free though! :lol:

Here are the other webinars planned :

Maybe that could help us with the Virtual Season if some of us were to attend it. If I can go to one, I'll try.

I'm planning on going too. It'll also help with my Trouble Shooter idea. Speaking of which, I sent the first draft of the series treatment to him not too long ago.

I'm afraid that would be a waste of the chance to ask him a good question.
Jymn hasn't worked for Disney for over 20 years, with a few freelance writing exceptions, so he -sadly- has no say in these matters, since it is a Disney property. In the off chance that Disney would ever revive TaleSpin, that still leaves little to no chance that Jymn would even be involved. Disney hasn't consulted any of the old DuckTales crew, so why would they change that for TaleSpin?

That's sad, because it'd prevent the misunderstanding of the concept of the old shows and let catch and express the vibe of the old series with the new ways. It'd prevent also making the bad reboots by the new crew, like Teen Titans Go or Powerpuff Girls 2016. But, even of it, I hope that the possible new Talespin reboot would be at least good, if not great, as the one we got now. :)
