After talking to the monkey (whose name I learned later was Rafiki), I was all alone when I heard a sound. I knew I was a small, little guy in a big world, so, not knowing who was hiding in all that grass, I ran for my life! I ran until suddenly I came face to face with a huge animal! I looked at him, and started screaming! He screamed just as loud as me! I thought I was done for, but he told me he was not going to eat me, and he was wondering why I was out here all alone. Learning that he was alone too, I started to see some similarities between us. He told me his name was Pumbaa (as of today, I also know his last name is Smith). He told me he was an insectivore, meaning he eats bugs. Well, I happen to love bugs too! On that first meeting, I could somehow see that he was special and that we would be bestest-best friends. Somehow, ya just know! (If you wanna see how I met Pumbaa, you'll find it in "The Lion King 1 1/2".)
As for Nala, same thing. I ran for my life! I felt terrified, but one thing I know is I may be small, but I'm a brave little guy!
Now, I'm aware that before research on true facts about my past was found, a story about my past was thought up. It was called "Once Upon a Timon". It was nothing like what really happened, but I enjoyed the tale! I liked the subplot of me rescuing the duke's daughter, and I loved the song, 'Alone Together'! It was lots of fun!
The only thing about some of the stories invented about me that I don't like is that at times, I'm depicted as being this character who's selfish, hot-tempered, and an irresponsible mook! And for some reason, the guys who make these movies always wanna see me get clobbered, usually by someone or something bigger than me! I mean what's with the stereo type? Oy! Just so you know, don't believe everything you see me do in those made-up stories. (Still, if you're curious, you can ask about those too.)

Heh, heh, that's a common misconception.
I must say, we don't actually live at the big pointy rock. Sure, it's a cool place, but ya think after all that work searching for the perfect home, we'd just leave it behind? Nope. We left our perfect dream home just to help raise Kiara in any way we could. We only lived there temporarily. Even though it's not addressed in the movie, once peace was restored to the Pridelands, we returned to our real home. It was only the natural thing to do. For me, home is where my Ma and Uncle Max is. They need me, and I need them. Pumbaa likes it there too. But still, we're glad to help Simba anytime he needs us!
How do I feel about the "eat-the-antelope" whatchamacallit????? Ha, ha, ha! What mook made THAT up?

I like all sorts of bugs. I'm rather fond of the crawly critters. The crunchy bugs and the cream filled blue ones that have wings are all yummy! I eat quite a variety of bugs, and many times I'll make up some kind of special dish. I just like eating to be fun! Attachment:

Well..... (laughs) I'll admit, I was kinda popular. I did get to meet a few girls. Since I spent most of my time around my Mommy and Uncle Max, they would get to know my family really well too. The thing is... Ma would give me countless hairdos. (Some of them really embarrass me!) But I have no hard feelings. I mean, my hairdo is normal most of the time.
Now, in the film Once Upon a Timon, I had a really big crush on Tatiana, the duke's daughter. (In this story,) before I was banished, my meerkat duty was to guard the back gate, and I would watch her from my post. Ahh, I'll admit it. I was in love!
After a gigantic snake came and terrorized the colony, it was believed that she was eaten. Since I had abandoned my post, I was blamed for this, so I was banished, but that's where I met Pumbaa! After we sang a happy, uplifting song together, I actually found Tatiana! She was alive! With Pumbaa's help we rescued her, and when we returned, I received a hero's welcome!
Everything was coming together for me. The Duke actually offered me the key to the city, as well as some other cool prizes! And best of all... Tatiana asked my hand in marriage!
But.... since Pumbaa wasn't allowed to live in a meerkat colony, and I'm the only friend he's ever had, I just couldn't let the big lug go off all alone! I just had to do the right thing.
But that's the other story.

Oooo! Oooo, pick me Timon, pick me! I've got a question. *shakes raised hand impatiently* 1.) Do you think you could ever bring yourself to settle down with a female meerkat and have pups? 2.) Who was your Dad? Was he Fearless Buzz? (a lot of Timon fans, including myself, think so, but no one really knows) And why wasn't he in TLK 1.5? Did he die? Sorry that I'm bombarding you with questions. BTW, I'd like to compliment you on your writing skills. I was reading the responses to the other questions and I thought, 'WOW! This person must be a writer! You should write some Timon fanfiction. I would totally read it.

Whoa, whoa, hang on. That ol' fearless buzzy boy was never my Dad. He was just some crazy guy that all the workers admired for some reason. I dunno.... ...and my Dad? Oohoh.... (deep breath) Oy... you know, I was gonna have a Dad, but those wacky filmmaker wizards who put this story together left him on the storyboards. He can be found on a section on the DVD called eh, 'deleted scenes', or as I like to call it, the MOOK section, becuase only a mook would take anything out of a good story! To be honest, the only meerkat I've ever looked to as my Dad is Uncle Max. Ma told me that when I was a little baby, Uncle Max agreed to raise me as his son. That's why he sometimes calls me 'sonny boy'. By the way, Ma is a big fan of movies and books. One of her favorite books is 'Tarzan'. That's why you see pictures of me wearing a loin cloth as a baby. But as I got older, she liked to see me wear even more costumes, and she always loves to fix my hair! Heh, heh... lot of fond memories! Attachment:

I've just thought of a couple of questions, Timon.
1) Why do you always try to act tough in the films, like you don't care, even when you really do? Is there something that happened to you emotionally/mentally in your past that makes you want to look tough?
2) Do you think that you'd make a good Dad if you ever decided that it was time to have pups?

What are you saying, do I act tough? I guess to answer your question, I never had to act brave or strong when Ma or Uncle Max was around. They would always be there for me. I just wanted to find the perfect home, and I did. The trouble was... (sniff) I just wasn't ready to leave my Mommy! But, (sniff) it made me stronger and more confident than I was before. Ma likes that. She is really proud of me. Do I look tough? Call being 'tough' a survival technique! I know I'm just a little meerkat, but I'm proud of it! Attachment:
