That is a satisfying idea but i think no one would care by then anymore... :(

But wouldn't it be significant to release one on the 100th anniversary? Titanic will re-release a movie on 3D on April 7th, thus marking the 100th anniversary of the tragedy. I would really like it if they released one on the 100th anniversary. If not, I'll go to New York and sleep in Central Park by the Balto statue to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Balto alone. There are people that have GOT to brush up on their history on the 1920s anyway. I'm pretty sure that Balto's 100th anniversary celebration might appear on the Google sign. Let's not give up hope though...

Kodi, just a tip, the Titanic sank on April 14th, not the 7th

It would be nice, but it just isn't going to happen. Universal has moved on from Balto completely, nor do they have interest in it, as the last petition that was sent out never received a response. As it is the movies were discontinued. From my knowledge anyway.

Many Balto fans have yet to accept the fact that Balto has run its coarse. But I know a lot of fans refuse to accept the truth. Why can't you just accept what you have? Even if Balto was to be re-released, it wouldn't sell very well. Firstly, Balto is an old movie that wasn't advertised well. Secondly, the movie just wasn't that overly popular. Thirdly, most people don't understand what the serum run even is. Lastly, Due to the last three facts, no one would buy it. Which in the long run would be a waste of money for both the stores and Universal.

It doesn't really matter that much to me, I would just like to see Universal put together another Balto sequel to so this fandom can continue to thrive and have something new to talk about.

But out of the plot topics listed, I really believe that the next sequel, since they likely won't do three more films after it, should cover the stories of the four remaining children of Balto. It's not really fair that they had 6 pups and we only know about 2 of them. Just do one collective film covering the four other pups so we can all have some closure towards the series.

Blame the Land Before Time sequels for lessening down the chances of a Balto 4.

TheBalticPower- I agree with you man! But I'd also visit Central Park.

The Land Before Time sequels had nothing to do with affecting the possibility of a Balto 4. WQ and WoC didn't generate enough revenue at the box office to fund a 4th movie and there wasn't enough demand for one.

Now there won't be any chances of a Balto 4 because the Balto franchise is virtually unknown, Universal's animation studio has been shut down, and Universal has even stated that they have no interest in the Balto franchise anymore.

Overall, the movies' own producers and the franchise itself is what killed the chances of a 4th movie.

There was no box office revenue for WQ or WoC because the box office is for theater releases and not straight-to-video releases. Just stick with calling it revenue.

The Land Before Time sequels actually have a lot to do with it, as that animation studio works on both of those franchises, but Universal's animation studio is a credible reason for lack of another sequel as well as the lack of interest in the company.

Universal made more LBT sequels because the franchise was popular enough for them to assume there would be a profit in doing so. Balto III, on the other hand, suffered from a lack of advertising (and quality XD).

I think this topic just needs to be locked. No one is talking about a plot line, this is just another Balto 4 topic. The other one was locked, so...
