How many of you would agree that this true?

What I mean by selfless is,he really cares about others,more than he cares about himself.^_^

Yeah, that's true. Balto doesn't really even stand up for himself... he only cares about others.

It's difficult to say, he could have done it because he's selfless.... but then again it could have all been about impressing the girl.

I think that the main reason he went was to save Rosy, because she was the only person who gave him a chance and treated him kindly.

I wonder how different it would have been had Rosy not fallen ill. Would he have still tried to save the other kids, (thus proving he is selfless) or would have have just said "Screw you guys, you never gave me a chance." :?:

Interesting thought I think he would of saved them though he's that sort of guy-selfless. But I don't think Steele would have bothered if he had bee in Balto's place; as he is selfish.

But if it hadn't been for Jenna;and Rosie Balto he might not have found out about the diphtheria-at least not in time; or known much about it.
