I personally don't care for this particular item much, as Balto's expression is just too derpy for my liking. I think the one of Boris is suffering from the same problem.

This is a fun one...

From Japan and back in the day when if you needed to make a phone call you had to go find a phone booth... and if you didn't have any cash you'd use one of these pre-purchased cards. I've never seen another.

Please ignore the marks on it as the card is in a plastic sleeve. The dust like marks are just marks in the plastic.

Hi. I know interesting thing about of this phone card.
In 1996, a Japanese comic magazine held that prize contest of Balto phone card limited to only 100 pieces. It is this.
So, You have a really hard to find stuff even in Japan. My friend was disappointed that missed the prize at that time.

The marks are meant balance on the card. A card reader reads cards by detecting the holes on phone cards. In your card, the balance is 0 because all holes are open. Originally balance is 500 Yen (about $5).
Of course more valuable for me .

Hi Masa thank you for the information that is really interesting. Given that many were probably thrown away after they had been used we could potentially have the last two in existence. I've never seen another before so yours is also very unique - thanks for sharing

Thank you Fluke. I'm glad to talk to you. And I'd like to talk about the key chain figure.

I was surprised at a lot of PM when I wrote this article so I couldn't to entirely reply to purchase requests message. I apologize for that time.
Some of the sets have already sold but the keychains set are still left.

This arrived in the mail today (ordered from the Gremlin Animation Gallery). It's from the deleted scene of Star removing the golden collar from Steele, then giving it to Balto.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know where the storyboards were drawn? The US or the UK? And what year might have it been drawn?

(I had to buy the frame myself, FYI lol)

I've had the Crulest Miles for a few years now, but I recently bought Seppala:Alaskan Dog Driver. It's a good book so far!

I'm not sure where the storyboards were drawn, but I wish I could make an art gallery of them.

Also, are there still keychains for sale? I'm not in a position to make online purchases (or much of anything as purchases go) right now, but Christmas - and the subsequent deluge of gift cards - is just a few months away. Anyhow, just thought I'd ask.

Given that the London studio was well established by 1993/94 and that many of the storyboards were drawn by Simon Wells, I would say that it would be safe to assume that they were drawn in London
