Beauty & the Beast

This film was brilliantly done, but the reason I added this topic is because I want to see what people think of this question I wandered about.

You know at the beginning during the 'Belle' song, Belle goes into the library and see's the old man librarian, do you think he was with the mob of villagers wanting the Beast to be killed later on with the film? I thought, well he was nice and liked Belle, so might believe her and refuse to join the others, or he might've joined the others out of blind rage and worry for the 'children' and such.

What do any of you think? You can also talk generally about this film too.

It is a Disney film released in 1991.

I dont remember much of this movie but I remember that i used to like lumeaire, the candle guy and clockworth

I like this movie, it's a nice classic. Not my favourite, but I like it!

When I was little,I absolutely hated these kind of movies!!And I am a girl,and not to much of a tomboy,but not a girly little prep either :lol:

I thought this movie was boring when I was little.ANd I still do :lol:

I don't know if that was him I don't watch that movie a lot.Me and my family have it to on VHs it is okay but not one of my favorites.

for me, beauty and the beast is the most BEAUTIFUL animated movie already made (because that is why it were indicated to the oscar of best movie in 1991)

So did I. I also hated how in the begining, they had the wolves chase Belle to the gates. I hate how Disney always portrays wolves as ravenous human killers. It sickened me the way that they had them act like they were all thinking "We're wolves so we're gonna catch you and rip you apart for dinner!" I've always hated movies that make them like that.
