I was watching TLK and when the scene of Scar clawing Mufasa's paws came, i decided to put it in slow motion. Result: i saw blood. I also turned it back and watched again, thinking that my eyes was kidding with me, but not. It really had blood. Here's the screenshot:

I think it's kinda weird, cause if it's blood, you will see blood on his paws when Simba was under his paw :|

Scar's claws are out. It'd have been lazy if they didn't add something that at least looked like blood/whatever else a little bit.

Never noticed that before! That's probably the first time Disney ever added any "gore" to one of their movies!

And what's wrong with it being there? That scene was dark, sad, and cruel. And Lion King is a realistic movie. So, do you expect flowers to bloom out of the scars in Mufasa's legs after Scar sinks his claws in it? Like in that one of Freddiew's clips? Just think about it xD

Don't need to speak like this, GoddessOfTheWolves. I'm sorry, but this also was stupid. And no, for me there's nothing wrong with that. I just think that's surprising for a Disney movie.

I'm sorry if I sounded harsh or rude. I really am sorry. I didn't mean to offend anyone, I was just stating a fact. Actually, it's kinda surprising for me too, but I understood that it should've been done in the case of that scene, whether it's a Disney movie or not. Again I'm sorry if I sounded rude.

I think Simba would have been more concerned and focused on seeing his father dead than blood on his paws.

Yeah, also there wasn't alot of blood. And it's barely noticeable, so I doubt Simba saw it. Also, he was experiencing a pretty big shock, so I doubt if he even saw the blood he'd focus on it.

I never noticed that before.
They needed to show how how harsh was Scar's "catching". People, he's sinking claws in Mufasa's paws! I think that not adding just a little blood would be weird.

There's been blood in other Disney movies(like when Tarzan gets scratched by Sabor in their fight. And besides I didn't look too noticeable for any kids or parents to see it and have problems with that being there.

Scar's also done the same thing to Simba near the end:

Never noticed the same thing happened to Mufasa, though. Interesting. Looks worse than Simba's.
