------------------------------------------

Full Name: Xavier Glenn Ryker

Nickname(s): Zavier, Zav, or Zay

Age: 16

Gender: male

Role: Hero

Power: Simply put, he is an empath. He can feel the emotions of others as if they were his own which results in strange mood swings depending on who he is in a room with. Although he can't exactly read mind, he can sense how actions affect a person's mood which is close enough. As his powers strengthen, he learns he can also slightly influence a person's decision. Although he can't control them, he can sort of communicate through his mind and bring out a certain emotion in them. Using his power often gives him a headache, though, and he tries to block out other people's emotions as much as he can.

Personality: Xavier keeps a very calm, nonchalant attitude that he can keep up even when he is feeling very emotional. He mostly keeps to himself and doesn't say very much at anyone which keeps a very mysterious aura around him although he really doesn't have anything to hide. He prefers to show his feelings through actions rather than words which sometimes results in mixed signals for those he does end up caring about. He is rather confident and doesn't normally hesitate to take on a dare or walk into a dangerous situation. Although he does not try to be a leader, people sometimes do end up following him because he won't wait for someone else to go first.

History: Xavier's parents were both very young when they had him which resulted in a very difficult time finding jobs when they both dropped out of college. Added with almost no support from their families, the couple was left on their own for the most part which made them quite desperate. They sold their baby, but they relied to heavily on Dr. Lawrence's monthly pay and had to give Xavier up for adoption when he was four after Child Service's got involved. They still collect the income even after he was adopted by a nice family. He still feels a slight loss towards the parents he barely knew.

Full Name: Katie Lee Harvey

Preferred Name: Kate

Nickname(s): Kay

Age: 16

Gender: female

Role: Hero

Power: Katie uses telekinesis to move objects with her mind. This is very dangerous for those who upset her because while she is still learning control, she'll accidentally send a chair flying at someone who ticks her off. This power also always her to create a type of protective force field around herself and other, although this aspect of her powers is still unpredictable since she has yet to master it. She often can't block out someone that she truly trusts even if she doesn't want to be around them at the moment.

Personality: Kate can definitely be described as a free spirit who cannot be tamed. She always acts on impulse and tends to make decisions based on her heart and her whims without thinking her choices through. She has a quick temper and a fast fist that comes with it. She also lacks the 'filter' between her mind and her mouth which leads her to saying whatever is on her mind even if it's rude, inappropriate, or common sense. She doesn't like to be taken care of and becomes frustrated when she cannot do something on her own and must accept help.

History: Kate's parents were in desperate times when her father lost his job, so they sold their unborn baby to Lawrence. They didn't know that they were expecting twins, though, and only Kate inherited powers which makes her a constant reminded of her parents' mistake. She has lived her whole live under the shadow of her twin brother, Kale, who seems to excel at everything he does. She's always felt a need to make her parents proud, but they just seem to view her as a screw-up.

Other: She is the younger twin by two minutes.

Full Name: Kale Luke Harvey

Age: 16

Gender: male

Role: Normal Student

Personality: Kale is the sibling who gains all of his parents' attention and pressure. Because of this, he is tense and moody the majority of the time, but when he gets the chance to relax with his guitar or his friends, he becomes a goofy teenage boy who just wants to crack a joke and chill. He has made it his role in life to protect his sister, Kate, and is often very stern with her. He acts like her parents since both their mother and father seem determined to ignore her entire existence. He doesn't like letting her go off on her own. She does see him as annoying and overprotective, but he just wants to make sure she doesn't ruin her life.

History: Kale has never understood why his parents act as if he is their only child, but he learned to just accept it at a young age and decided to take care of Kate himself.

Full Name: Seosaimhthin ("So sa vhin") Aodhon ("Ee on") Flynn

Preferred Name: Sosie

Age: 16

Gender: female

Role: Normal Student

Personality: Sosie is the definition of a sweetheart. She never seems to have a bad thing to say about anyone and it takes quite a lot to get her angry or even annoyed. She is patient and kind, but she is also very shy and will only speak to a stranger if they approach her first. She is not the bravest soul and tends to freeze up when scared. She loves to learn new things because of her intense curiosity which brings out her courage when she is determined to figure something out and she is unafraid to ask a million questions in order to get the answers she wants.

History: Sosie grew up under the care of four older brothers and parents who encourage athletics rather than education and don't really understand their only daughter. All of her siblings have finally moved on to college, leaving Sosie the only child in the house and the only remaining Flynn in school, though she is still known as Cian/Jarlath/Phelan/Seamus's little sister.

Other: If you couldn't tell by her name, her parents are originally from Ireland and she often uses Irish slang in her speech. She also speaks with a slight Irish accent where all her th's are pronounced as t's.

Full Name: Jacelynn Miranda Taylor

Nickname(s): Jace, Jay

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Role: Hero

Power(s): She has the ability of super speed, able to reach just above the speed of sound. She can also vibrate her molecules through solid objects, if she can get going fast enough. There are some downsides to this; her metabolism requires her to eat a lot just so she won't starve. The world also tends to go by slower than it would to someone else; her mind can move as fast as her feet.

Build: Tall and skinny, she can look a bit awkward at first glance. A closer look reveals the grace underneath her lanky frame, the firm muscles lining her arms and legs that come from hours of running.

Eye Color: A light blue that has tints of grey in the right light, giving them an enigmatic, mysterious quality.

Hair Color/Type: A natural blonde that's a bit darker at the ends that it is on the top. Its wavy and usually tied into a messy ponytail that somehow suits her. When down, it reaches just below her shoulders.

Other: A light spray of freckles dusts the bridge of her nose, her cheeks, and the tops of her shoulders.

Fears: Heights are her big one; she refuses to go up on anything high that she can fall off of. She isn't exactly fond of spiders either.

History: Before she was born, her dad was unemployed, which led them to selling their baby; they had no money. All of their bills were behind, and they were living on what little food they had. After she was born, things started looking up. Encouraged by the sum of money they were given, they started looking more thoroughly for a job, and her dad finally got one at a small pharmaceutical company, and gradually starting working his way up.

He became friends with the owner, and when the owner decided to give the company up, it was her dad that got promoted to head of the company. This led to them being close to rich, and pretty much lost in the money, Jacelynn wasn't paid as much attention to as her parents focused on ways to build their reputation and income. She isn't neglected; far from it, actually. But her parents don't play much of an active role in her life.

Personality: Cheerful and talkative, she makes friends easily, no matter where she is. Because of this, she's almost like a social butterfly, having met most of the school population at least once. She doesn't have very many close friends though, instead knowing a lot of people, just not very well. She always tries to look on the bright side of things, and is always looking for a bit of excitement in her life. She tends to be a bit impulsive, a result of the super speed, and this combined with her curiosity can be dangerous. She almost never backs down from a challenge (though she's smart enough to realize what challenges are stupid and not worth doing), and can be surprisingly stubborn when she wants to be, though is normally easy-going.

~~~
Full Name: Louis Rayford Markus
Nickname(s): Lou (though he hates it)
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Role: Hero
Power(s): He has the ability to control his molecular structure, becoming impenatrable, or melting into what resembles a puddle of liquid. If he isn't focused on controlling it, his power tends to reflect his emotions; hardening when angry, and softening when startled, as an instinctive defense reaction.
Build: He's small and fairly unnoticeable; few pay attention to him unless he makes himself known. He just looks unassuming and inconspicious, great at blending into crowds and ducking into shadows.
Eye Color: One eye is a slightly lighter shade of brown than the other, seeming to hold an amber tint when hit with direct sunlight. The other has gold flecks around the edges, but those are barely noticeable, lost in the darker color.
Hair Color/Type: His hair is dark, looking black to pretty much everyone. It isn't too long, but it is scruffy, often hanging just in front of his eyes and concealing them from view.
Other: None
Fears: The dark, though he would never admit it. It isn't a paralyzing fear, but he often sleeps with the closet light on.
History: His mother died mere minutes after giving birth to him. His dad really did try to take care of him, but honestly, he had no idea how to raise a kid. He learned over time, but still isn't the best when it comes to interacting with Louis. They'll occasionally click and understand each other, but for the most part, get along a bit awkwardly. They're still obviously father and son, and are actually closer than they appear; it just takes certain situations to bring that out.
Those that notice him in school the most seem to be bullies; they've only physically hurt him a few times, and none of his injuries were serious, but they will often insult him...whenever they bother to go looking for him, anyway.
Personality: Louis tends to be rather quiet, preferring to blend in rather than stick out. He doesn't show much emotion when it comes to being stressed or afraid, covering that up with a hard look he has mastered. He opens up more around people he grows to know and like, but there aren't exactly a lot of those people. If someone does get to know him, they'll gain a loyal friend who doesn't exactly give the best advice, but will always listen to problems. He interacts with others a bit awkwardly at times, which is one of the reasons he's quieter than other people are, but he really is a good friend...it just takes a while to become one.
~~~

Full Name: Sherri Eden Monroe

Nickname(s): Sherri

Age: 16

Gender:Female

Role: Normal human

Build: She's a few inches shorter than average (and usually wears heels because of that), and just a little bit...plumper than others. The look suits her though, filling out her face and giving her a cheerful appearance.

Eye Color: A light green that is often emphasized by eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner.

Hair Color/Type: Her hair is blonde, though not naturally, shown by the brown roots near her scalp. Always styled, her straight hair is cut in layers, and frames her face nicely, reaching down to the bottom of her ribcage.

Fears: Needles; she can't stand anything to do with them.

History: Her mother was divorced and re-married when Sherri was six and seven. She never fully warmed up to her dad, but it's made better by the fact that he's rich. She was fairly spoiled, and still is.

Personality: One of those stereotypical popular girls, she tends to tease the new kid or the "weird" kid, though she never lets it escalate to what she considers bullying, just poking a bit of fun "as a joke". She does have quite a few friends, all as popular as she is, and works hard to keep them. The exception is Jacelynn, who she considers a fairly close friend, even if she isn't quite as popular. She can be a nice person if you're her friend, surprisingly generous and determined to make things better if they aren't going right. However, those who aren't her friends...she doesn't really interact with them unless it's to make fun, just to impress the girls around her. That's really the only reason she does it, though she won't admit it; she has been seen to stop it if it gets too harsh though.

Wow, sorry these took so long! This past week in particular has been really tough. I might add one or two more later too. :)

Name: Jonathan Robert Weddell

Nickname: Johnny

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Role: Superhero

Personality: Johnny would give someone the shirt off his back without hesitation. He’s a very smart kid but rarely ever gives 100% on things. No adults can ever figure it out. Whenever asked about it, Johnny shrugs and seems to check out of the conversation. Although he’s a sweetheart, he can become irritable and snappish in a second. He’s obviously got a chip on his shoulder but he never opens up to anyone. He doesn't make friends easy because most of the time he doesn't try and when he does he doesn't know what to do to relate to who he's talking to.

History: Johnny’s father walked out on his mother when she got pregnant because he wasn’t ready to be a father. This is why she sold her child. She loved Johnny as much as she could but couldn’t always be there for him since she had to work enough to support the two of them. This caused Johnny to learn to keep his problems to himself because he didn’t want to give her any more stress than she already had.

Power: Johnny can reach his mind out to someone else’s (human or animal) and sense a little bit about them, mostly memories. The easiest memories for him to see (and most common) are the strongest ones, such as either painful memories or wonderful memories. Since he has no control, he usually ends up seeing things that happened to animals instead of people. His lack of control also makes it hard for him to focus on things because he’ll randomly get insight into a person’s memories.

Appearance: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4SgNbpyPcqk/T ... less-5.jpg (Matt Cohen)

Other: Johnny loves the rain and relaxes a lot more when it's storming out.

Name: Iris Sarah Brown

Age: 16

Gender: female

Role: Superhero

Personality: Iris is very athletic. She loves to be outside and is a major tomboy. She rarely ever wears make up, dresses, or skirts. She tries to act tougher than she really is and rarely lets her guard down. She thinks that if she ever got really good friends she’d just be herself around them but she hasn’t found any she trusts that much yet. She is quite sarcastic and loves to have a good laugh, even if it’s at someone else’s expense. However, she is loyal. She’d do a lot for people that she loves.

History: Iris was an only child so she grew up close to her two parents. Every weekend they did something fun outside. Her mother fell ill when she was 13 so she focused on helping her parents around the house. Even though her mother is doing better now, she can’t stop herself from cutting herself off from people now and then so that she could immediately help her parents if they needed it.

Power: Iris can communicate with and influence animals. She has a lot of trouble influencing them without training, although the scientists say that she'll be able to do it eventually.

Appearance: http://media.photobucket.com/image/rece ... mindy2.jpg (Allison Scagliotti)

Other: None

Name: Curtis Gabriel Paxton

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Role: Human

Personality: Curtis is an unmovable force. He takes time to think about things before making up his mind and once his mind is made it is not budging. This causes him to hold grudges and even though he’s calm and logical most of the time, his temper is not something you want to mess with. He wants to help people, which makes him a popular kid that a lot of loners will be friendly with. He tends to put too many things on his schedule and sometimes struggles with keeping up with life.

History: Curtis's father has always expected perfection. That's probably why his mother left when he was only 4. He never understood why she didn't take him with her. However, he does love his father. He just wishes he could be good enough for him.

Appearance: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ptnyHVfMmVs/T ... tebook.jpg (Ryan Gosling)

Other: None

Xavier sat at the back of his homeroom, tugging apart the frayed threads of his black hoodie. The late bell rang out of the speaker system, causing more than half of the students in his homeroom to sprint inside the classroom and take a seat before their teacher took attendance. Xavier never understand the reasoning to standing just outside of a room until the very moment before you'd get in trouble for loitering the halls, but despite his annoyance, Xavier felt strangely happy, as if he'd just shared a private joke with a friend. He was too confused about the way his emotions had been jumping around lately to give much thought to the chuckling and giggling group of teens in front of him. As the speaker cracked on again for morning announcement, Xavier rubbed the bridge of his nose as he felt another headache forming around that spot, a familiar occurrence that was starting to concern Xavier. Perhaps he'd make an appointment with the doctor soon to find the problem and fix it.

Kate slumped down in her seat at the front of the class as the principle's voice rambled on from the speaker, announcing sport events everyone already know about and academic reminders that no one really cared about. With boredom getting the better of her, Kate turned her head to Curtis Paxton, the blonde guy who'd been assigned the seat next to her. "You know, I really hate Tuesdays," she said, the exhaustion from waking up at six in the morning that only thing she could focus on at the moment. "Everyone else says they hate Mondays the most, but I don't. I hate Tuesdays. All the stress of Monday is still there, it's the second day we've all got to get up at the crack of dawn, and it's still only the beginning of the week." The school year had only started about a month ago, but Kate was sure that Curtis was used to her morning rants by now, always justifying that the current day of the week was worse than all the others.

This time, however, Kate's speech was cut short as she heard her own name sound through the speakers. "Iris Brown, Katie Harvey, Louis Markus, Xavier Ryker, Jacelynn Taylor, and Jonathan Weddell, please report to the main office during homeroom period. Thank you. Have a good day."

As the speaker clicked off, Kate remained in her seat, wondering what she had done now. She couldn't remember disrespecting any teachers recently or causing a fight or a failing a test. Well, she had broken one of the locker doors in the girls' changing room, but that hadn't been her fault! The rusted old thing practically fell off on its own. If her parents had to sign one more detention slip, she was sure they were going to kick her out of the house. Reluctantly, she glanced behind her where her twin brother sat four seats down, and he was giving her one of those looks. She returned it with an innocent shrug of her shoulders, which was enough to satisfy Kale as he returned to whatever school work he was doing. With a heavy sigh, Kate finally stood up from her desk. "See you second period," she said to Curtis as she grabbed the single notebook off her desk and hesitantly walked out of the classroom.

Sosie perked up as she heard the names listed off. There couldn't have been a stranger group of students. Iris Brown was known for skipping out on social events to stay home with her sick and only ever seemed to talk to those on her sports teams while Katie Harvey was known for making trouble with everyone and never missed an outing for anything. Louis Markus always kept to himself though he always seemed nice enough but Xavier had the same quiet attitude with a much less friendly feel around him. Then there was Jacelynn Taylor who always seemed so bubbly and happy and Jonathan Weddell who acted like a perfect gentlemen until someone ticked him off. As far as Sosie knew, these six people barely knew each other, so what were they doing going to the office together?

After witnessing the silent conversation between the Harvey twins, Sosie spoke up to Kale, thinking that if anyone knew what was going on, it would be him. "Excuse me, but have you any idea what's goin' on wit t'em?"

Kale was surprised to hear the red headed girl talk to him. After sitting next to each other every morning in homeroom for the passed month, she had never spoken a word. He wracked his brain but couldn't remember her name for the life of him. Susie? Sandy? Something along those lines. He was also distracted by her accent, which sounded something like British and French combined. After his hesitance, he finally answered, "No. I have no clue."

Louis absently tapped his pencil on the desk, the clicking noise hidden beneath the almost painfully loud babble of everyone talking. He sat carefully at the back of the room, next to a kid with longer dark hair who looked vaguely familiar. He couldn't put a name to the face though, so Louis decided to just let it go; it wasn't that big of a deal, after all. He resumed tapping with the eraser end of the pencil, only stopping when the late bell rang. People finally trickled into the room, the babble quieting a little as they took their seats.

"Good morning, students," the principal said over the intercom, "Welcome to another day at Mountain Valley High School." Louis tuned out the rest of the static-distorted words, not really caring about any of the announcements. His ears perked up when he heard his name though. "-Louis Markus, Xavier Ryker, Jacelynn Taylor, and Jonathan Weddell, please report to the main office during homeroom period. Thank you. Have a good day."

Slightly confused, Louis stood slowly. What on earth was this all about? Why did they want him of all people to come down to the office, along with a few others? He didn't do anything wrong, he had paid all of his exam fees, and wasn't outstanding enough to have made it into one of those weird honor groups. Well...he wasn't going to figure this out until he was in the office. So Louis walked out of the room, surprised to find some other people - the people who had been called too, he supposed - standing up too. Huh. Who knew they were in his homeroom?

~~~~
Jace laughed, walking into the classroom with Sherri as the late bell rang. She wasn't exactly very good friends with the more popular girl, but they got along just fine. Besides, Sherri was nice enough when she wanted to be, even though Jace had seen her make fun of the students deemed 'outcasts' a couple of times.
"Hey, so are you coming to the party this Friday? Tyler said since his parents were gone it's going to be even better than the last one," Sherri grinned as she took her seat.
"I dunno," Jace shrugged. "I mean, it sounds like fun, but my parents have already promised to take me out to the movies then, you know?"
"So you finally got them to talk to you?" Sherri teased.
Jace elbowed her, a small smile taking the sting out of the gentle nudge. "They're not that bad," she responded. "Maybe we can hang out Saturday instead?" she suggested.
"I'll see you then," Sherri agreed cheerfully.
Jace gave her another wide grin before pulling out some math homework she hadn't gotten to finish last night. Pulling out her pencil, she had to once again remind herself to slow down. She knew that she could move faster than most people; she had figured that out when she was three. It was just before her dad was promoted to head of the company, so he spent a bit more time with her. They had been playing an innocent game of tag when Jace had dashed away giggling. The only problem was she had broken the sound barrier in the process. She could vaguely remember her parents sharing an alarmed, guilty look before they encouraged her not to tell anyone. Jace hadn't argued, and this speed simply became part of her life. She thought she had a pretty good handle on it, but slowing down was pretty annoying sometimes, and her metabolism was irritating too.
The announcements interrupted her and she listened half-heartedly until she heard her name. Jace's eyebrows furrowed in thought. Maybe she was being called down for some type of group thing? She had remembered one of her friends getting a letter in the mail about an honors society, or something like that. Maybe it was something like that? She shrugged it off; she couldn't be in trouble, so she wouldn't worry about it. She just stood, finding herself behind a fairly quiet kid...Louis, if she was remembering right.
Curtis chuckled, shaking his head a little at Kate's rant. He was more of a "I hate Monday" person himself. It wasn't very unique of him but he couldn't help it. There was something about that first day of getting out of bed that made him wish he lived in a cave far, far away. As the announcement calling for six students rang out, he looked at the speaker, puzzled. He moved his gaze back to Kate, wondering what she did to get called in.
The biggest puzzle to him though was why she was called in with those other kids. As far as he knew, she didn't spend that much time with any of them. Besides, she looked just as lost as he did. He glanced back at her twin brother, who didn't seem to know anything either. He turned back to Kate and nodded as she told him that she would see him next period. He'd have her explain then. After this she was definitely going to hate Tuesdays, he thought to himself as he watched her leave the classroom. No doubt about that. Hoping she was okay and not in trouble, he opened his notebook. Just focus on class, he told himself with a small shake of his head. There's nothing you can do about it until you see her next period.
Iris sighed and hung her head as she heard her name called out. Assuming that they had found out about the soccer ball she had carried home with her without realizing it, she got to her feet, already preparing a speech about how she had it in her locker now and was planning to return it at lunch. It was an accident, she didn't want to steal anything. She grabbed her notebook and headed out of the classroom.
Wait. If she was in trouble for taking the ball, why was she being called in with five other kids that she rarely ever saw. "Very Breakfast Club," she breathed under her breath as she walked towards the office. This was going to be interesting and not in the good way. This was probably not going to be a good day for her. Resigned to the fact that her ordinary day had become more colorful already, she sighed softly.
"Hey, Johnny, do you have a pencil?" A pretty blond turned around to face him, looking desperate to find something to write with. He handed her his pencil immediately then turned to his backpack and began going through it, looking for another pencil or a pen even. He was sure he had something floating around in there. That was when he heard his name blaring out over the speakers. He had to report to the office? Why?
Johnny looked up, furrowing his brow. Had he done something wrong? Frantically, he searched his memory for anything that may have gotten him in trouble. Had he accidentally insulted someone when he was talking to them? Or maybe he was in for another "you need to learn to apply yourself better" lecture. He slowly got to his feet, turning his thoughts to the other students that had been called. Maybe the school wanted them to do something together? But why? What did administration care what they did or who they spent time with? They just wanted their grades and test scores to represent them well.
He walked out of the classroom, thinking over the people he was reporting to the office with. Louis Markus was one. He was a nice boy, really quiet. Johnny had spoken to him a few times, said hi in the hall, had a quick conversation about a school assignment once or twice, but that was it. Jacelynn Taylor was the complete opposite. She was cheery and talkative, someone Johnny felt comfortable talking to. Iris Brown was obviously guarded and didn't interact with many people who weren't on her sports team. He knew she had a sick mom that she put first, which he respected greatly. Xavier Ryker seemed confident but kept to himself enough that Johnny didn't know him that well, not that there were many people Johnny really knew well. Then there was Katie Harvey, who was one of the most impulsive people he had ever met and always spoke her mind. He found himself wondering again why they were the ones called to the office.
As soon as the speaker clicked off, Xavier lazily stood up from his seat, swiping his notebook of the desk in the same movement. He really had not clue why he was being called to the office, and he honestly didn't care. After all, it would probably be something trivial and boring like they owed too much money to the cafeteria or they were eligible for a college scholarship. Whatever it was, hopefully it would be an easy fix, maybe a quick chat to the profesor, then he could return to class without missing too much. Summer officially ended three days ago and as October loomed closer, the teacher's easy going attitude was moving into actual teaching. Now was not the time to get left behind in class work.
When Xavier entered the hallway, he noticed the five other people who'd been called to the office along with him, though they all seemed rather hesitant to go to the office and were mostly loitering in the hall instead of walking towards the office. Their slow, reluctant pace allowed Xavier to quickly pass them all, not moving particular fast, but his normal walking speed was twice as quick as the other's steps. He easily took the lead and continued making his way down the hall, turning the corner and only a few feet away from the office.
Kate paused at her locker, tossing her notebook inside, wasting as much time as she could before heading to the office. She doubted anything good could come from this little meeting. She was perfectly happy to dawdle around her locker for another five minutes, but the dark-haired boy she recalled as Xavier sauntered down the halls at much too fast a pace in Kate's opinion. "If we're in trouble, I'd rather not face the music for as long as possible," she said pointedly to his back, but he either ignored her or didn't hear her because he didn't stop and quickly turned the corner to the office. With a whiney groan, Kate slammed her locker shut and stalked after him, dragging her feet as much as possible.
"Anyone got any ideas what we did?" she asked the group, glancing at each of them. Kate could at least put a name to every face, but she didn't know much else. Iris was always so serious and Louis was always extremely quiet. Jace could be too happy and Johnny could be too moody. Then there was their missing member, Xavier, who Kate couldn't remember ever hearing speak or showing showing emotions other than a twitch of the corner of his mouth when something was funny.
The sarcastic athlete. The awkward introvert. The social butterfly. The unstable sweetheart. The silent stoic. And the left Kate as the impulsive screw-up. Guess my parents were always right about me, she thought as she continued to wait for an answer.
Ooc:// WolfCall - I will forever think of this rp as The Breakfast Club: Super Hero Style from now on, haha.
Jace frowned thoughtfully, tucking a stray piece of blonde hair back behind her ear. "No clue," she shrugged in response to the question said by...Kate, she was pretty sure. The name seemed to fit, at least. "Maybe it's some sort of honor society type thing? I don't think we could be in trouble; I don't remember doing anything."
Her blue-gray eyes flitted around, studying everyone carefully. These people were so diverse, their grades probably the same way; an honor society didn't make much sense either. Jace's frown deepened, a small crease forming between her eyebrows as she mulled the question over.
Louis snorted at the suggestion, unable to keep himself from adding his own two cents in. "Somehow, I don't think that's the case," he remarked. There was no way he would ever be considered for an honor society. He was fairly certain his teachers didn't pay a lot of attention to him to begin with. He wasn't exactly one to call attention to himself unless it was absolutely necessary, especially in front of a classroom of people.
Jace shrugged, choosing not to respond. She hesitated slightly when she noticed they had finally reached the door leading to the office. Nervous butterflies suddenly filled her stomach, making her apprehensive. She absently played with the hem of her shirt, not noticing when her fingers slipped into superspeed until the fabric became uncomfortably warm. She hurriedly stopped, not wanting to inadvertantly set something else on fire.
"Well," she said, taking a deep breath, "There's only one way to find out what they want us for." With that, Jace pushed open the door, the hinges squeaking slightly.
Ooc:// Not my favorite post, but I really wanted to get this thing up and running again. ;)
