It's great to know that the producers are actually taking notice of the fans actions. I think the best way to get more people interested in Balto would be a re-release in theaters and since there aren't any animated movies by Pixar or Dreamworks currently out, now would be the perfect time. But if they can't do that I think the next best choice would be to have it air on TV, most likely on FOX, ABC Family, or CN. But if they can't do either one then the only only way to spread Balto is to have the fans do it themselves, which they're already doing of course, but it's a slow process. But what I really want to know is what would Universal have to go through to get Balto re-released in theaters or air it on TV. I know popularity would be an issue, but if enough people see the trailer for it I'm sure there'd be a good amount of interest.

Quote: It's great to know that the producers are actually taking notice of the fans actions. If I'm not mistaken, that answer from Glenn Ross was from...5 years ago. I'm not even sure he still works for Universal now. So, yeah. Unless Universal finds an opportunity = another company doing something with their old classics and be successful, they won't do anything. The best (most likely) we can hope for is a Blu-ray release, currently.

The best (most likely) we can hope for is a Blu-ray release, currently. But still, it's good to know we had SOME recognition instead of just being ignored. The only way a Blu-ray release will come is if Balto's popularity goes up (yes I know this song is getting old) and I think the only way to accomplish this would be (like I said in my previous post) a re-release in theaters. And if they can't do that the next best option would be to air it on TV. If they just do a Blu-ray edition without any way to promote it, it will be a guaranteed flop. So yeah, a re-release or TV airing would probably be the best and most likely (at least I think) event we can hope for at the moment I know you've probably heard this all before, but being the 15 year old I am I just have to sound professional even when I'm not LOL!

Guys! There is a bunch of people working on a new classical film! They've been worming on it for five years! There still is hope, if a new classical film comes, would that make for the others to follow in tow

Just because some other place is making some film, doesn't mean Universal will. Why? The animation studio was shut down.

I guess the whole fact that the series has a FORUM is not enough to convince him that there's a fanbase ready for another film... :/

My opinions[No offence]: CGI - No, no, no. Outsourced to another company - No Both of those would ruin it.......

In many fans' opinion, transitioning Stuart Little from CGI/live action to regular animation ruined it, yet the reverse move is equally unpopular when something starts as regular animation. Then again, I felt the same way about Ben 10.
