We all know when Finding Nemo came out it was the biggest animated movie since The Lion King. CGI animated movies were at their peak and crushing anything tradionally drawn at the box office. But when Brother Bear came out it was a perfect reminder of what 2D Hand drawn animation can do. This movie was GORGEOUS. Probably the most beautiuflly animated film since The Hunchback of Notre Dame. And all though Brother Bear only did decent at the box office I thought it was slightly better than Finding Nemo. I cared more about Koda and his journey finding his mother than I did about Nemo finding his dad. And I'll take well done hand drawn over animation over well done CGI anyday.

So which did you prefer? Story wise and animation wise.

For me as well, I enjoyed Brother Bear over Finding Nemo in both story and animation.
It's really all a matter of preference though. Most people apparently like Nemo's story and/or animation better, and perhaps casting among other things.

Even though I enjoyed Finding Nemo I still dont understand why it was so huge at the box office. What was it about that movie that had people going back for 3 or 4 more veiwings? I kids just really love fish.

Since I am a huge fish lover, I really loved Finding Nemo. I just didn't care for Brother Bear. Both ways around, though I must admit, Brother Bear had lovely animation.

I can see how people would prefer Finding Nemo. But at least you give Brother Bear props for its animation.

I never really enjoyed Finding Nemo. (Though I did like the turtles.) I enjoyed the plot for Brother Bear, and also the animation was win. The music was good also, but that wasn't what really won me over.

Really, I don't think I could decide between Brother Bear and Finding Nemo. Both own a place in my heart and I've always watched them a lot as a kid. I remember being one to see Finding Nemo in theatres more than once.. It was just a film I loved so much.

I am for Brother bear... i found brother bear better than finding nemo ... i like bears

I'm not really into fish, and I really don't like Finding Nemo. I used to, but I've seen it one to many times since it came out. So my answer is Brother Bear.

I think both were really cool, but brother bear was just so beautifully made, and it was still a 2D film! The music, animation, and ways of showing scenes were just awesome, while Nemo didn't quite have the same magic.

I agree completly. Brother Bear is a gorgeous movie.

To me, Nemo was alright but it was nothing compared to Brother Bear; Brother Bear gave more of a deeper emotion of 2 different creature that live different lives and sights towards different things, and also how they judge something too another, the Nemo story mostly just contains fish that mostly fear the same things and like the same things although there are different types of fish but all there minds mostly work the same. There was a few more differences like on Brother Bear was about brother hood as Nemo mainly about "who's a good father to their children, who isent?" and also other facts to what make it both different but unique. Brother Bear is my favourite out of them both, defiantly 100%

Then there was also Brother Bear 2 taken into account, still No.2 out took Nemo.
But this is only my opinion. no one else has to agree with me.
