I'm more for the Infinity Ward side of things. The only thing I really liked in Treyarch was zombie mode, which will also be the only reason I get this game should I decide to. It seems to me Black Ops is now just copying Modern Warfare and changing a few things.

I'm also disappointed with what I've learned about in the multiplayer. I guess I'll have to see. Like pretty much every Call of Duty game I may end up getting it eventually, but this time I have more doubt then excitement and anticipation.

What did you hear about the multiplayer? The first one was epic, not as good as killzone 3 but still I found it alot of funXD

Apparently they're changing the perks system: It's kind of hard to explain: Tmartn had a good video about it; I'll have to find it. I just heard there was going to be no sleight of hand and that disappointed me.

I'm pretty excited for this. So many unanswered questions that have popped up in trailers and leaks. Like how the heck did Woods survive!? And I read somewhere that Reznov actually never died and he meets back up with Mason! Unlike most people, I actually buy game sequels for the actual story. The multiplayer is just an added bonus. And to be honest, I don't see why people love zombies so much. The multiplayer in the first Black Ops was WAAAAY more fun than Zombies and I expect that it will be the same for this one.

^^That my friend is called an opinion Lol, also spoiler alert please thanks.) I used to buy COD for the story. I have been displeased with the stories in Call of Duty probably since after MW2. They've been good, but not great, because let's face it: there isn't as much effort put into making campaign missions as much as multiplayer. And that's the way it's going to be I'm afraid.

Black Ops multiplayer had a lot of problems: overpowered Famas obviously, a broken sniping system which Treyarch never really fixed. Along with camera spike campers and whatnot.

Zombies was a better mode because the only thing that was broken were occasional glitches. It's a tested and expanded formula. And what they're doing with it now seems to be even better. Multiplayer can be extremely frustrating sometimes, but there's nothing like blasting a few undead with a couple of buddies.

Dude, I've played with snipers many times on multiplayer, and it works just fine. Just because you can't quick scope doesn't mean the sniping system is broken. That seems to be one reason why a lot of people hate the multiplayer. Also, hardly anyone uses the camera spike! But yes, I will admit the Famas does seem to pack more of a punch than what it's stats say.

I don't know about you, but it's the exact opposite for me. Whenever I play the multiplayer, I always have a blast. But when I play zombies, I feel like throwing the controller right through the screen.

Did I even mention quickscoping once? Lol. Even with the lightweight pro combo the hit detection is wonky. It shouldn't take 3 chest shots to kill. And the famas was very overpowered. If you watch any Call of Duty in depth videos by Drift0r I'm certain he covers that gun. Along with the sniping system.

Maybe you're better at multiplayer so you like it better? I can't exactly judge there since I've never played with you anyway Lol. Zombies can get frustrating sometimes, but for me only if I get incompetent teammates. If you had an xbox we could party up and try I guess, but I don't know.

The zombie mode appears to be worth it. I've asked my friends about the multiplayer. I'm still meh in that area, campaign may be entertaining though. And Treyarch will never get sniping right, ever.

Here's my thoughts on it.

Campaign: Freakin' amazing! This definitely exceeded any expectations I had! I liked that they had two different story lines connected to each other and I loved how they even allowed the player to make different choices and even included side missions. Both of which would ultimately affect how the story would end. The story line itself was also amazing. Very suspenseful and shocking and very fun to play. Frank Woods and Alex Mason are still the kick butt soldiers they were in the first! 8) I wish they included Hudson in it more though. And Victor Reznov only appears for a few seconds in one scene. (Dang I really wanted him to be in it!) I will definitely say this is the best campaign so far!

Multiplayer: It was really fun at first, but then it began to get a little frustrating. Then again it could just be me since I'm only at level 22 and still need a lot of stuff to unlock while everyone I play is like at level 40 or 50. It was the same case for me for the first Black Ops and MW3, so I think it's a little too early to have a definitive answer. My only complaints about it are that they don't have the Sleight Of Hand perk anymore (which is what I always use) and the older weapons that were in the campaign (such as the AK-47, the M16, and the FN FAL) aren't in the multiplayer, which sucks because they had some amazing stats!

Zombies: It's interesting that they actually made different game modes for zombies, but I've only played the standard "buy guns, open doors, and shoot" mode, which is the same as it's always been. Haven't played the other modes so I can't really give an opinion on it.

Overall, Black Ops 2 is a very fun game. If the multiplayer and zombies do turn out to be just as good, if not better, than past Call Of Duties, Black Ops 2 could very well be the best COD so far!

My updated thoughts now that I have the game:

Campaign: I definitely agree with Train even though I haven't finished it yet, it's definitely improved. Treyarch does not have my favorite characters, but they're moving in the right direction. The only thing I would say Treyarch needs to fix is basically their dialogue. I'm not going to go off on this but I do get tired of hearing profanity constantly, and it's not just where one would expect, it seems like they do it just because they can. You can turn it off, but then you lose the graphics and it turns into a T shooter.

Multiplayer: I'm still of the same opinion as last time around. I played a match, didn't like it. All my friends keep telling me to, but I refuse. So long as Treyarch continues to be against the sniping community, I'll just stick with IW's multiplayer. Also no Sleight of Hand means I'm going to be spending a lot more time working on my prestige in MW3

Zombies: The reason I wanted this game. I want more classic maps however. Tranzit is fun, but the characters are annoying. The girl is the only one whose voice doesn't annoy me. I think Black Ops one had better characters so I want to see them return. I like how they expanded it, but I want 3 things:

1: Better or old characters to return

2: More classic maps from BO1 and WaW

3: All those maps to be released in DLC separate from multiplayer maps similar to the Resurrection map pack from BO1. I wouldn't see the point of buying a map pack with 3 new multiplayer maps and only one zombie map if I wasn't even going to multiplayer.

So yeah, those are my thoughts on the game.

I'm more of an MW3 fan.

But Black Ops had a nice multiplayer and zombies.

Campaign was a let-down. MW3 or MW2 had the best campaign in the franchise.
