This is spurred on by my frustration over the recent Selections of the Week on Spirit Source.
The mods do this when they remember, other times I do it because even though I'm not strictly meant to I still have the permissions so ... eh.
BUT.
One person has apparently been "told off" by the mods for submitting My Little Pony styled Spirit artwork - now there's another MLP styled drawing which is a selection of the week.

Now, I've nothing for or against either of these things really - but how the heck is anyone supposed to do anything properly when clearly the mods don't even know.
Can we PLEASE get our act together?
It's becoming pointless trying to do ANYTHING.

I don't edit/change Spirit Sources selection of the week because I usually see that it gets changed every week or so. The Selection of the week should be changed every Sunday. Hmm... something will have to happen about that.

About that MLP situation, I don't see why that person had their image deactivated. As long as the image is Spirit related (And it didn't conflict with any of the rules) it should have been accepted. I contacted the member on this situation.

Before the mod (Whoever it was) decided to deactivate the image, I think they should have discussed this with the other mods.

I couldn't possibly agree more. These mods hate and spam everything. Several people I know here seem to think they own the internet itself with their over analysis and pessimistic attitudes. Where they get the tenacity to keep making everything horrible is beyond me. With the way this site its going, I can assure you it will die off faster than Myspace could have ever imagined.
