Kodi and Katie's tempers with one another become too much. For their children's sakes, they decide mutually it's time for them to take a small hiatus from one another. However, an evil man named Mako captures Katie one day, and takes her back to his dog fighting ring in Anchorage. He plans to breed wolfdogs for the fighting ring! Kodi, Balto, Fang, and the four pups journey to get her back, while Katie sturggles to survive the sadistic Mako, his dogs making both a challenge.

Here! I'll be Mako, Titan, Cachen, Fang, Lena, and Balto. Oh and since this is a sequal to the Race for Life one, technically, Lena and Tai have owners but I have a way to work that out, they're technically pets but they're free to come and go as they please because their owners know they have family in the wild. Sound good and do I need bios for anyone?

Not unless you want to make a bio for Mako. ^^ But you're good. Where do we begin?

MAko's personilty will show itself well enough. Lets start during the fight that makes them take a break from each other, you want to start?

Katie was almost seeing red. "You infuriating little snip! Ugh! What, what's the matter now?! Kodi, I'm really trying, but you-you're so difficult!" she was fuming taking the venom that was spit back at her.

"What?! I work you know, that's my life-" Kodi was cut off.

"you've got a mate and four adoring pups! The mail team can't be your whole life! Look at Cachen, he's already got a girfriend! Tai and Lena are pets! We're goign to just be together soon, and I don't think I could handle that!" at that moment, Katie regretted what she said, looking down at the snow covered ground.

"Maybe we need to stop for a bit, to stop seeing one another." said Kodi, his ears back. "I feel the same way you do, Kate. We need to go our own ways for a while."

Both of them said the same thing together. "We need to learn to love and appreciate each other again."

Eva smiled, snuggling close to Cachen with a soft 'Hmmm'. "It doesn't matter," she said, eyes closed "I'm here to help you."

Tai nodded, licking Cachen's muzzle in a siterly way. "She's right, she's your girlfriend. Eva's here to support you."

Kodi smiled lightly, nuzzling Lena protectively. "I know, I know. We're not splitting up again." he promised.

Katie nodded. "I know, I know." she said, ears drooping lightly.

Kai nodded, still supressing sobs as he spoke hoarsely. "Will you take me, Uncle?"


OOC: Trying to give Kai some sort of innocence.

Cachen snuggled close to Goldie. "I love you Goldie, thanks for always being there for me." he said. "Same with you Tai."

Balto smiled to Kodi and Katie. "You two are really maturing." he said. "It takes a mature couple to do what you're doing." he said. "And to put the pups before yourselves."

"And it really made our hearts hurt last time." said Lena.

"Sure thing little pal." said Fang and he led KAi to the burrow. "Here we are."
