I noted something between the two versions of ADGTH. Carface is much more active in the first movie than he is in the second one. In the second, he actually had to be told by Reginald to do things other than voluntarily go out to do mischievious activities. It is like he expressed no interest to do anything to Charlie in the second movie than in the first one, where he vowed to eliminate Charlie whatever it took, where here it really was Reginald's dirty work instead.

Yes, I know what you mean by this. This is why I don't really like this sequel. Carface just lost isn't as evil as he was in the first, and he had more of a wimpy voice too instead of that cool deep villainish voice. To me, he was totally different. I didn't like that either how Carface was always taking orders from a CAT.

To me, he's not EVEN a villain anymore, he's more of a sidekick, like Killer was in the first movie. No, really, I do. Carface's character is completely changed to me! In the first movie, he was a very clever, cool, and heartless bad guy. And in this sequel, he's pretty much turned into a dimwitted evil sidekick who becomes more of a comic relief to soften Red's wickedness. O_O

Yeah.....Carface wasn't really the murderous, manipulative villain he was in the first one. He just became a punchline as time went on.

Ha. DEFINITELY a major difference between carface in 1 and 2. Carface met his real Scarface mode in the First movie. Hidden text : click to show
So .. he kinda was reduced to nothing..

But how would that mean that Carface couldn't have attempted to gain power? He didn't necessarily have to honor his deal with Red; he could've waited until he had possession of the horn and use it to warp Heaven into his own regime and turn Red into his slave......But this is the sequel Carface we're talking about; he would've been too busy being scared of his own shadow to capitalize on anything.

I find it hard to replace actors, but the two movies had two completely different feels to it. Ernest Borgnine is a great actor, he just wasn't suited for that role.
