Plot: Chevek's pack encounters a hunter and his two dogs. Steele and Balto. As hunting dogs, they were trained to hunt wolf, hare, and if possible, bison. Chevek's pack goes through many problems, surprizes, and death. Blood and gore ould possibly be encounterd here. Join to find out more.

Chevek stared off into the sky watching as dark clouds rolled in from the North. He was grateful for the rain. Since summer was just beginning, the rain was needed desperately at this time. The grass began to grow taller and greener. But it still needed water, as well as the lakes and rivers. Chevek layed down at the edge of the den rock, his front paws hanging down free. His orange eyes gleamed brightly as the sun was hidden by the clouds. Chevek's smile faded as the clouds slowly moved the other direction giving little rain. Disappointed, Chevek layed his head on his paws as the sun was soon showing again. No rain. He'd just have to wait longer. Chevek was just about too close his eyes and rest when a wolf from down below the rock spoke. " Sir, hunters are in the area." The male said looking up at Chevek. "Do they have guns, or weapons?" Chevek asked opening his eyes, standing up, and looking down at the male wolf know as Akia. "Affirmative." Akia stated with his tail up and outward. Chevek pushed his ears forward and bared his teeth. "Get the Betas and Deltas ready to fight. As well as the Alphas." Chevek looked at Akia. Akia nodded and sprinted away.

This is Akia. The Beta male.

Christy looked at Chevek."Hunters in our area is a problem.It happens frequently."Christy said."Hello Crystal."a male wolf from the pack said from below the rock Christy was sitting down on.The male was known by the name Seth."Ah,Hello Seth.Seth find Akia and see if he has the deltas and betas ready to attack some hunters."Christy commanded.Seth sprinted off to find Akia.

Akia came running back to speak with Chevek. On the way, he ran right smack into Seth. "Dang it, Seth. Move." Akia pulled pack his ears and snarled. Akia reached the den. "The Alphas, Betas, and Deltas are ready to fight." Akia looked up towards his Alphas. "Good. Christy and I will meet you across the river to plan. Go!" Chevek leaped off the edge and ran off the direction Akia went. Following, Chevek ran faster and faster. Soon, he was pretty much flying to his pack. When he reached the forest, the pack was barking and growling in excitement. "Listen up!" Chevek pushed his ears forward and barked loudly. He sat on a large rock looking off at each one of his wolves. "We must get rid of these hunters." Chevek leaped off the rock and started off in the direction of the hunters Akia informed him about. Putting his nose to work, Chevek moved in zigzags sniffing out Akia's scent. Following the scent, talking was heard by the pack. Inching closer, the hunters were spotted by Chevek and Akia who was by his side.

Christy caught up with Chevek.Christy had an angry face."Those ***** hunters.."Christy wishpered.Christy stopped walking.She then had her ears flattened and her tail straight up.

Chevek stood over Christy, making her crouch to the ground. Akia looked after the hunters. The hunters loaded their guns and through them on a truck. Not doing anything harmful, they loaded up and drove away. "Are these hunters playing a joke on us or something? " Chevek snarled as he got off Christy pulling his ears back, turning his head and sending a message to the pack saying go back. No kills that day unless elk was hunted. Which was what Akia and the betas were planning to do. Out hunting, the sun was just going down slowly. Front paws hanging down freely, Chevek continued his rest while gazing at the horizon.

Christy was back where she was sitting.Christy stayed quiet."Chevek,What if we go hunting for elk and then the hunters are there again?"Christy asked with her serious voice.Christy was looking outside the den from where she was sitting down at.

Chevek just layed on the edge of the rock outside. Since Christy was inside the den, he didn't really hear her. "What?" Chevek asked opening his eyes and turning his head around. He stood up and walked into the den sitting down and curling his tail around himself. Looking back outside, Chevek saw Akia walking towards the den , pack not far behind him. Chevek looked back at Christy, walking towards her. He sat down next to Christy, licking her nose and tail. Christy new that meant she's his, and he's ready to mate. Chevek licked her nose some more and smiled at her. Akia walked in and sat at the entrance. The pack walked around Chevek and Christy, and gathered around the back of the den. Four other wolves, beta wolves, dragged an elk with them. Putting the elk on the ground, Chevek let Christy eat. He did as well. When the two alphas were done, the rest of the pack pigged out. Only the carcass was left.

Christy looked at Chevek."So your ready to mate hmm?"Christy said.Christy was looking outside the den again."I'm ready to mate Chevek."Christy said suddenly.

Chevek nipped at Christy's tail, taking her to a quiet place place just behind the den. Chevek rubbed his head on her back. Licking her neck. He slowly made his way behind her. He got up on his hind legs and got on top of Christy. He licked her back and began breeding with her. They were stuck together for an hour and a half. When they finished, Chevek licked Christy's back leg close to her paw. Laying down beside Christy, Chevek layed his head atop Christy's neck.
