I know that TaleSpin isn't supposed to have continuity because each episode used the "reset button" after the end.
Still, all the episodes *should* be following the pilot, Plunder & Lightning.

I've just watched "A Bad Reflexion on You" and here's what I noticed...

Rebecca and the others are very surprised when Baloo receives a letter from Khan, asking him to go to his office. (Rebecca even says that Khan usually doesn't care for little people)
Baloo is very impressed when he enters Khan's office, just like if it was the first time he entered it. (which obviously isn't, he did twice in Plunder & Lightning)
Khan was looking for a "dumb" pilot, and found his picture in the newspaper - again, he acts like he had never heard of Baloo before.

I think this confirms that Plunder & Lightning was written AFTER some of the episodes.
Also, I know that most Kit fans love the fact that he was a former pirate - after some of the things I've read from Jymn and from the episodes themselves, I strongly think that Kit wasn't supposed to being a former pirate in the episodes. This was specifically written for Plunder & Lightning. Though being a navigator for Baloo WAS part of the character.

Have you spotted other continuity problems like this?

I only have one weak one at the moment, the part where Mad Dog and Dumptruck manage to enter Cape Suzette with a submarine and they spot Kit and Molly. They don't sound like they've ever seen them... though this only further undermines the "Kit never was a Sky Pirate" thing going on after Plunder and Lightning.

I'm glad that at least some comics picked up on Kit's past with them, albeit I would've enjoyed actually seeing what it was like for him. It couldn't have been ALL bad. Oops, off-topic.
