I'd like to try for Isis. Would it be okay to change her name since the name Isis is not necessarily of positive connotation in some parts of the globe?
Also: BryceLovesYou
Edit: I attached a render of her and posted the biography below.
Name: Isis (or if allowed, changed to Cana) Breed: 100% Grey Wolf Sex: Female Birth: 1925 in the western Alaska coastal wilderness near Nome Pack: Nava/Aleu's Pack Rank: Former heiress (or Nava's successor), currently Aleu's rival and second-in-command
Personality: Possessive, filled with zeal, and capable of envy. Isis is driven towards her goals, and once they are achieved, she does her best to hold on to them. This makes her a formidable adversary and someone that is not worth crossing. She is strict to follow rules, and will not bend or break them for anyone (no exceptions, not even herself). She is also a boss, not a leader. Likes: She enjoys giving orders, but not to the point where she'd be annoying or abusive. Dislikes: Aleu (sometimes it turns to hate, but on neutral days it's more of an annoyed distaste for Aleu) Loves: Control, being in charge. Hates: Disorder (she's kinda OCD) Talents/Abilites: Well organized and fearless in the face of doubt, Isis is the wolf people turn to when they need guidance in a sticky situation. She's well coordinated and thus is fantastic at battle strategy and the execution of said strategies. She is also not one to let things go, so you could say she has a good memory. Weaknesses: In terms of judgement, Isis sees everything as either black or white, with no in between. This can lead to rash or drastic decisions on her part, even resulting in her being a poor leader. Also, her bossy traits can be overbearing to others, resulting in her having less friends and more "underlings". Dreams: To reclaim her true spot as alpha of the pack because she believes Aleu has brought disorder and chaos onto her family Fears: Chaos that cannot be reversed or controlled
Parents: Nava (Unknown x Unknown) x Unknown (Unknown x Unknown) Siblings: None Mate: None Pups: None
History:
Isis was born in a large pack and from the start she was obviously a strong potential alpha. She was the alpha's daughter, so she was practically a princess (and was spoiled like one, since times were better with more food in the territory). Her childhood was so easy and she got away with a lot, including exerting her dominance on other older pack members. The other wolves took it from her because she did no harm and she would be their alpha in a few years. But by allowing her to do and treat the others as she wanted had left Isis uncaring towards others, often leading to her being disconnected from the social aspects of pack life and friendless.
So during her teen years, you could say Isis became a workaholic. She focused on being the best alpha (knowing that her father was aging fast and that she had to prove her position) became one of the best huntresses of the pack and was the best hunting leader to have. She knew how to catch the most difficult of prey through coordinated hunting parties. Isis became the most essential member of the pack when famine began to occur in the summer of 1926. She was the only member of the pack that was able to bring a haul back from a hunting mission (keep in mind, she wasn't a rule breaker, so she didn't take from other clans or anything). When other wolves didn't bring anything back, wolves like Niju and his three underlings became suspicious of Isis. Niju himself had always held jealousy for Isis, and took advantage of the pack's uneasiness to accuse Isis of treachery. Niju claimed that Isis was either taking from other clans or was making deals under the table with other clans without Nava's approval. Knowing that Isis was not very popular among the pack, it was not difficult for Niju to convince the masses that Isis was a traitor.
Luckily for Isis, Nava stepped in and made a fool of Niju thus disposing of the mutiny/civil unrest. Nava advised that the pack appreciate Isis for the work she had done for them in their difficult times, and asked for her to take a few wolves and show them how to find food. Isis took a hunting party out, while Niju went to go sulk in the forest (leading to Niju confronting Balto and Aleu).
So Isis went and showed her pack mates where she found some mice and a few remaining rabbits. While out on their excursion, one of the younger wolves fell for a hunter's trap and was caught in a rope. When the wolf pulled at the rope, bells started to ring which notified the hunter. Isis turned her head and heard the bells and looked down the hill to see the teen stuck. She also saw the hunter aiming at the wolf and quickly dashed to confront the hunter. Isis tackled the hunter just before he fired his gun and took a bullet straight though the ear. Isis was able to chase him off and laid down to recover from the pain in her ear while the rest of the wolves helped the younger one out of the trap.
Isis and the wolves returned to the pack in the middle of the nigh (just in time for Niju's raising of a revolt), where Isis decided to lay low and rest in a cave since her ear felt awful. So she slept through Nava, Niju, Aleu, and Balto drama, up until she was awoken by the wolf she saved. She met up with her father in private, where Nava explained that he was trusting Balto to lead the pack across the ice. Not wishing to disobey her father's orders, Isis went along with it and crossed with the pack. When she saw that her father had fallen behind, Isis attempted to dive in after, but was held back by the wolf she had saved who told her that they need her if Nava is separated from the pack.
Next thing you know, Aleu swooped up and took Isis's spot as pack leader. Isis was insulted by it, but did not argue with her father's ruling. So when the pack arrived to Russia, Aleu didn't know what she was doing. Isis pretty much took charge and did everything, and often found herself in fights with Aleu on what to do. When the pack followed Aleu, they barely survived and Isis often ended up saying, "I told you so." Aleu gradually wises up, but as she does, the two being to clash more. Isis herself gets a following of wolves, who often complain to her that Aleu sucks as a leader. Isis herself agrees, but she tells them that the pack cannot divide. Isis herself believes that unless all or mostly all of the pack does not want Aleu as an alpha, Isis will step in and formally challenge her for the position. Until then, Isis begrudgingly follows Aleu and directly and indirectly challenges her at every opportunity.
