Okay, these kinds of contests are obviously not Balto related, but do they also belong as contests? No, I don't think they do. Not because of the fact that they're not Balto related, but beacuse these kinds of contests asking for designs are nothing more than requests designed to be accepted into the contests section. This problem is a lot like the adoptables when it comes to where they're being placed. There is actually a requests forum that no one seems to use anymore. Even though the original intention of that board was for fanart requests, I don't see why it can't be used for general requests.

There is also the issue of make me a new character contest too. Those should be flat out against the rules, as that is not either a contest or a request, that's just being flat out lazy.

Those create a character contests are pure laziness. If someone else designs you're character its not exactly original. People are like sheep these days.

I feel the need to bump this topic again since there have been a lot of these kinds of contests popping up again...

Seriously, guys, the contest section is NOT a request/help forum. Its intended purpose was to hold contests that relate to Balto, not for your mate/design needs.
