I have a load of free linearts I've made myself. They're not brilliant, but you and everyone else are welcome to use them:

In addition, on pretty much all of the pitcures I've made in my Images gallery, I've used free backgrounds, which are creditted to the people who provided them. Just have a look at the images, search the names of the people credited with the backgrounds and have a look through their image galleries.
