Lena ran over to Katie. "Momma, you've got to come see this!" she yelled, then ran off back towards the group.

Lenatei nodded. "True, but in people like Steele, change was for the best."

"It...It makes me me really happy to hear you say that." said Rosie, looking touched and happy her dog felt the same way. "I've always dreamed about talking to you."


Katie blinked, following her daughter. Tai was curious as well, and went with her mother.


Goldie, who had been by Cachen silently, looked at him. "Think we should?"

"It usually is for the best with the kinds of guys I get." said Belladonna, smiling. "I want them to change, it's never a good path to be on, you know, the one that leads..." she gestured down.

"Rosie...You're my human and I love you," said Jenna. "You've cared for me since I was a little puppy, we grew up together..." she continued, smiling. "I've always wanted the chance to tell you how much I care about you...how much you mean to me..."

Cachen nodded. "Why not?" he asked. "Come on Kai! Tai!" he called, following his sister and mother.

Lenatei nodded. "And you know first hand what its like," she said. "Well, not the being tormented for eternity part, but you've seen what its like down there. I'm grateful I haven't."

Rosie couldn't help but be overjoyed, tearing up a little. "Jenna, I know you cared about me. We've been together for a long time, and I love you too. You're my dog, and I couldn't ask for a better one." she said, tail waving slowly.

Katie came up with Kodi, and they looked on at Rosie, confused by the scarf abd scent.

Kai and Goldie nodded, following with Tai leading the way.

Belladonna chuckled. "From what I've heard, you ended up like that for being chivalrous and putting your life before someone else's. That wins you a lot of points."

Cachen blinked. "Who are you?"

"This is Rosie," said Jenna, still glad she could talk to her owner. "She had the ring master turn her into a dog," she explained. She then looked to Rosie. "Rosie...there was so much I wanted to say but...it's strange, now I can't remember it now that I can say it."

Lenatei nodded. "But all dogs normally go to heaven by default. The ones you and Sakak have to deal with are so far gone heaven would refuse them," she said, sadly. "At least Sakak can save lost souls from Red's claws," she continued. "Some sold their souls to him for good, others for bad, but the good ones get free and the bad ones get a second chance," she said. "I think it's great."

Kodi and Katie looked shocked. "Rosie?" they asked in unison.

Rosie nodded, looking embarrassed. "Honestly, I don't mind. Let's just spend the day together, maybe it will come back." she said to Jenna, smiling.

Blaze and Derbin seemed to like that idea. Their tails were wagging happily.

Cachen's eyes widened. "Rosie? Is that...is that you?"

"It her! It her!" yelled Kenai, jumpping excitedly. "She have nice ring master make her dog like us!" he said, then turned to Rosie. "That make us happy! It make us happy!"

Jenna nodded. "That would be nice," she said. "Good thing we're already used to stuff like this."

OOC: I think perhaps this is when Rosie learns the full story of Balto she tells her granddaughter in the movie, including thems only she would know.

Rosie nodded, blushing softly. "Uh-huh. It's me." she said, rubbing Kenai's head with a paw, before looking to Jenna in confusion. "What... Do you mean?" she asked, tiltign her head to the side curiously.


"Wow... Rosie." Goldie said, sounding amazed. But, she also didn't sound completely surprised.

"Momma," said Blaze. "Rosie no know bout the-the 'ventures?" she asked, having heard a few stories by now, like the rest of her siblings.


OOC: I always wodnered how she knew all that. But yeah, now would be the best time.

Jenna chuckled. "We've had a lot of adventures, Rosie," she said. "Not just when Balto saved Nome, twice, and when we rescued Katie, we've had a lot more than that."

Lena nodded. "Though me and Tai tend to have more than most," she said, blushing.

Cachen looked to Katie. "Momma...is this possible?" he asked. "I'm not dreaming, am I?"

OOC: Also could explain how the plots for the first and second movies became known in the future.

"Is that why you're always off somewhere?' Rosie asked curiously. She had never understood why they left a lot. "I mean, I don't mind, but when you leave you worry me."


Katie was just as shocked. "If it's a dream, it's a good one, sweetheart." she said to Cachen with a smile.


OOC: I always wondered how anyone would know.

Rosie nodded, smiling. "Sure, where?"

"Why not the boiler room? We go there a lot." Balto suggested.
