Don Karnage does make a fuss over his name and loves it. Anyway I was thinking the First part may be short for somthing, i,e, my name is Michael but many call me Mike, so he may like the shorter version of his, which I bet is a real toung-teister!

Then Karnage may be a pirate nickname like Dumptruck or Mad Dog.

It could totally be a nickname, true :) Maybe his real name is awful and he doesn't want anyone to know it!

Well Don can easerly be short for somthing (I knew a guy who was called that for short) and Karnage is most likely a nickname, and a BADASS one at that! 8)

Don is actually a honourific of latin origin. It is mainly used in Italy today, but historically it was used by the Spanish nobility. Considering that Karnage is Spanish, given the accent they give him. He is pretty arrogant so he probably gave the title to himself in order to satisfy his large ego >>

True, very true. He could be from a fallen noble family, like after the 1898 war.

I agree with both of you, but I think he would rebel the current social order and create the group of pirates to satisfy his independence feeling. ;)

Yeah, or if he has revenge on his plate.
