That makes sense. After all, Disney had real lions on the scene for when they were designing the characters and what not for TLK.
And they studied actual animals for the other films they did to apparently. It certainly is genius to bring in actual animals for references.
I was kinda surprised to hear that Spirit's model was actually NOT wild. O.o

Other than that... what a handsome fella :3
