Fanfic Assistance

Well, I've been kind of fumbling my way through my next ADGTH fanfic, and I have to be honest: it's not going as well as I hoped. I've managed to do a good job with limited inspiration before, but seeing as people have waited so long on this already, I thought I'd seek some help to jump-start it. Co-author credit will be given, of course.

I'll try to avoid too many spoiler details, but the story will contain elements of romantic comedy mixed with some teachable moments (I'll try not to be too preachy). Knowledge of the hippy culture, specifically dialogue and attire, is a definite plus. Any volunteers?

this sounds interesting, do you have an idea of which characters you're going to use?

Well, Charlie and Sasha of course (and a few others whom the first one hints at). Also Annabelle, maybe a cameo of Itchy, key roles by David and his parents, plus a handful of OCs. And maybe Gerta too; we'll see.

What are ya aiming to write? (Romance, Action/Adventure, Etc.)

Well, like I said before, it's kind of a family story (in every sense of the phrase) with elements of romance here and there and, if I get it like I'm hoping to, a strong vein of comedy.

I'm not sure. And let's face it, them being in such a situation would probably be story enough in and of itself, at which point a Miracle Dog Tag would be anticlimactic. :alien:

Oh, rest assured there won't be any of those. I guess I'll offer a bit of a spoiler for those who really want to know and/or who might be able to provide good ideas.

Sasha's parents, whom she hasn't seen in years, come calling. They know nothing about Charlie because they were separated from their daughter long ago and she thought they were dead. Thus the current state of Charlie and Sasha's relationship... well, you do the math.

I think that's a great idea and do have and idea.
What if Charlie they (the parents) are one of Charlie's missions from Annabelle?
I know it's not perfect but could be worked on.

You know, that might just work. I'll have to retool a few parts leading up to it, but you may just have something there.

that kinda reminds me of a fanfiction idea where sasha's parents come to visit her cafe and sasha is afraid charlie might embarrass her.

To be perfectly honest, I've been so busy it's hardly even crossed my mind. I've got such a backlog of writing to do that I've actually been trying to give away my surplus ideas. If anyone feels like taking this one, I might be open to the idea.
