It has been a awhile since I last drew a horse, so I'm a bit rusty.(I used to draw horses alot way back when. lol)

So, I decided that I would attempt to draw Spirit. I did start out with a sketch on paper, but I like the digital one the best! =D

I used Gimp and my tablet. I did reference from a screenshot.

Not bad! :] The thing that really jumped out at me was the way you coloured it. I like the kind of "painty" look.

It's pretty good, seeing as though you haven't drawn one in awhile. I'd do a full critique, but I'm far too lazy right now xD
