Rain looked away from her dad not comfortable having this conversation "Where's mom"?

"Come on Rain, we never talk anymore. This would be a good time to talk." he said. trying to make her feel better about Cedars loss. he rubbed her back and nuzzled her.

"buit this is a female thing"

Koak sighed, "I'll go get her." he said then walked off back to Artemisa to tell her to go see Rain.

Artemisa knew something had happened. Her mate she senced was dead. and she was alone

koak was actually still alove, but growling lowly so they don't hear, and was fighting dater. But then, they both fell to the ground, bleeding, and not moving.

Artemisa sighed and felt re pain oloosinf Koak he had Vern her best friend and the father of her pups. She howled in misery

"mom?" asked Stent as he came into the clearing. "What are you howling for?" he askek, not kniwng anythign of what happened.

She sighed and looked at her son "Your father is dead"

"dead? but mom, we hve lounger brother and sisters now... you can't take care of them alone..." explained stent.

Artemisa looked at Stent "yes but he didnt know that i was expecting and dont worry i have plenmty of friends that will help me" She said looking at her son' And your dad will always be with me in my heart"

Stent nuzzled her mom, "In ours... now what about rain, isn't she expeting Cedars soon?" he asked.

She smiled and nodded"Yes she is quite upset that Ceder is not here to raise them but im sure she will find someone to help her plus i will be there"

Stent smiled, "We'll all help her."
