The prince walked out to the above world with the guards, "And what are you doing with her?" He questioned, his head held high. All the while he couldn't help but look at her. The guard saluted his prince before answering, "We keep her chains while she's outside." One answered, giving the chain a quick jerk. The Prince nodded once before holding his hand out, "Key." He said. The guard was reluctant. "I've got orders from your father to not let you have it." He said, trying not to meet the Prince's yellow eyes.
"You dare disobey me? I said the key. Now." He ordered, the guard soon slipping it into his hand. The prince turned it over and over in his hand before dismissing them. "That'll be all the assistance I require." The guards nodded and left him alone, going back underground. The prince walked over to Rachael, standing beside her.

Rachael pay very little attention at first when she saw the prince coming outside, thinking about how the sun glinted off his white hair and off the swords the guards held. She shrugged her shoulders at them and turned to face the hills that never seem to be getting any flatter. She wondered what it would be like to run free again, her thoughts began to wander as the prince came next to her. "Why are you out here? Standing so close to a killer." She said, not turning to look at him. She simply watched the hills, longing to run them again. Her animal wanted to be free again.

Prince Nuada looked down upon her, "To set you free one last time." He said, reaching behind her and unlocking the locks on the handcuffs before tossing them onto the ground. "Want to have a little race?" He challenged, beginning to pull off shirt. He ran better with less of the weighted shirts on. Besides, it was hot out there anyway. His pale skin stood out against the color of the outside world. He was built with a muscular build, a six pack standing out the most. He was very handsome.

Rachael was in disbelief at first but when he removed the cuffs she knew he was serious. She rubbed her raw wrists and smiled for minute. What the prince didn't know about Rachael was that she was built for speed, not just for fighting. The younger girl was about to say something when she witnessed him removing his shirt. She gasped silently and turned her head, his body was toned to perfection. To be honest, he wasn't all that bad looking either. She looked over again, "You ready for defeat?" She mocked jokingly.

The prince simply smiled and looked ahead, "Defeat? I believe not." He said with a grin before glancing at her, ready to run. "Ready?" He asked, rolling his shoulders a bit before glancing at her clothes, She'll need new clothes before long. He thought, making it a mental note to get the young girl some type of clothing. "The rock formation is the finish line." Prince Nuada took a few seconds to inhale deeply. He smiled again, "Go." He said before sprinting, choosing a rock formation to be the finish line.

Rachael smiled once more, looking over at him as he said go. Like a speeding bullet she shot off from the starting point, running as fast as her aching joints would allow. By the time she was comfortable running again she was already matched with him, breathing in through her mouth and out through her nose. The griffin inside of her loved this feeling, too bad she didn't have wings to spread. Though they were useless for flight, the wings that were no longer attached to her were beautiful in every way.

Prince Nuada was amazed at how fast this girl could actually run, for someone who hasn't been eating properly and with no shoes on, she could really move. He looked straight ahead, jumping down the hill to prevent twisting his ankle or pulling something. He kept running, not paying much attention to her as he pulled into the lead. He had a competitive side that he adored to show off.

Rachael spared the prince a glance before pushing herself a bit harder. Her nostrils flared as she took in a lot of air through her nose. She put about an inch between her and the prince before her legs began to burn and tire. She looked over at him again, trying to not slow down as much, but her lungs burned and her legs did too. She slowed a bit. If I was back to my original self, I could beat him. She thought, angry at herself.
