madness wasnt responding to her so she walked away back to the den she noticed lyra wasnt breathing she ran to her and felt her pulse " lara get in here now!!"

(LOL.... This is gonna be a loooong one from this here sickie. Bear with grammar/spelling mistakes, cuz I'm sick and don't feel like reading through this.)

Lara pricked her ears at the sound of Nix's concerned growl. As she turned to face the gray she-wolf, something caught her eye. Two wolves were sitting on the ridge, watching the pack below. One yellowish and pink, the other brown. Lara only twitched her ears in awknowledgement. They obviously weren't a threat- two wolves just sitting there. They'd be insane or suicidal to try and take on an entire pack in their own territiory. She stared at them a moment longer- the smaller brown one twitched one of it's ears in return. Lara darted into the medicine den without even saying anything.

"Your sense of direction is horrible," AIC said, staring down at the wolves below. "Of all the places you could have led us, you led us straight into a pack territory." She snickered very quietly. Staley said nothing, only staring intensly on the pack. AIC shrugged and stared mildly at the pack. There were a few still sitting out- one tawny yellow male looking incredibly confused, and a couple grayish wolves. There had been a petite cream and brown female- she'd been the only one to notice them.
"Do you ever wonder what it would be like... To be in a pack again?" She heard Staley ask, she barely even heard him. He was referring to back when they were teenagers, and left their own pack. AIC had forgotten why by now, but she was sure it was over something stupid. She stared at him for a few seconds then looked back to the camp below.
"Nah... I mean, not really. I don't even think about packs much at all. I guess it would be good for the protection and support and such.. But still, I think it's best to be 'loners', not that we're more alone than they are." AIC paused and studied the pack a little more. "I mean we have basically the same group. Just more condensed. And not as strict." AIC sighed. Staley didn't say anything for awhile. Normally he would say sometihng, and if he hadn't that meant he was either thinking or he was just ticked off.
"I don't think I'd like it." AIC was relieved that he'd actually said something. He turned to face her. "The responciblity.... It's hard enough to watch and keep you and Harlequin out of trouble." He snickered, giving a sly grin. AIC rolled her eyes.
"That's because you're a feeble old man," AIC laughed smirking a little. She softly cuffed Staley over the ear.
"Am NOT!" Staley growled playfully, tipping her onto her side. "I'm only a little older than you, you batty old woman," He snorted, and sat all proper-like. The next second, he was spiralling down into the camp- the snow beneath his feet had given way.

Madness sat in the white snow in the middle of the quiet forest. Her fur blew in the wind, going into sulky soft ripples. She focused her brown eyes on nothing in particular; she was just staring into space, her paws enveloped in the freezing blankets of winter. Madness' ears pricked up and flicked, her tail sat still. A small, orange butterfly brushed past her cheek, and Madness' mocha eyes shot to it, carefully watching the wings flap silently into the trees.

The wind was blowing without a sound, yet you could see the tiny snowflakes brought down from the sky twist and swerve in the breeze. Madness enjoyed the silence. It was calm and beautiful, especially in this clearing, where the ring of pines circled this tiny blue flower.

Itak, Madness called it. Wolf for "survivor". This blue flower was the only one able to bud in the wintertime. Madness slowly laid down, back cracking and a sigh of relief breaking the silence as her head rested on her black toes. Her eyes stared, unblinking, at Itak. Her belly twitched after a while.(Yes, Madders is preggie in this one XD)Madness still stared at Itak.

Suddenly, the breaking of snow and the long yell of a wolf sliced through the air, and Madness' ears flattened against her head, her eyes squeezing shut with annoyance and a gowl slipping past her lips with a curse.

"Fu**. What the hell is going on now?"

Madness slowly stood again and stretched, blinking at Itak. After a moment of staring, she turned around and quietly trotted back to camp, leaving the small blue bud to rest in the soil of ice.

(This was very long, I know, but I've had this post in mind for a while! R&R! Lol.)

"The fuuuu....." Staley spat. His head was throbbing, mostly because he'd only hit it about twenty times on the way down. When he opened his eyes he came face to face with a young, and very pregnant she-wolf. Except there were three of her, again due to the head trauma. She looked pretty ticked off. Staley stared at her for a few moments.
"Please don't kill me," he said, laying his head on a mound of snow. The she-wolf only blinked, and looked even more ticked off. Staley only shrugged and sat up, his head ringing.

AIC watched sheepishly as Staley was surrounded by wolves. At the head of the group- a silvery female with darker markings. She was obviously pregnant, and didn't seem too pleased at the yellow and pink wolf. With a deep sigh, AIC slid down the embankment Staley had accidentaly created. She felt the eyes pin on her as she stood next to him.
"If he said anything offensive, he didn't mean it. He's just an idiot, and without me he'd be dead about ten times over." AIC said very quickly. Let's NOT make it eleven. AIC thought darkly, staring at Staley, who was peering around the camp, looking incredibly dazed.

Madness just growled deeply. She rested her ears on her head and barked:

"What business do you have even wandering around my camp?"

She heard pawsteps, and turned to see Link walk up. His bulky shoulders and muscles rippled as he took a defensive stance near his mate, head down some, eyes narrowed and staring straight into Staley's. Madness just shook her pelt a little.

"Care to explain this mess you're in, pups?" he asked in a boyish, but adult, voice.

Staley tipped his head to the side and held the dark gray wolf's stare. "I'd be more than happy to, sir." Staley paused, flicking his ears. The male wolf growled deeply. "You see, we got lost. As we often do. Both of us are crap-navigators. So, we camped out on that ledge," Staley nodded toward it with his head, which throbbed even worse when he moved it. He cringed a little, but held the stare. "The snow underneath me gave out, and I landed in the middle of your camp. We aren't planning an invasion, we aren't planning an attack. Or whatever you might think we're doing." Staley said, rolling his eyes. The dark gray wolf and the silvery female seemed incredibly unamused. "My name's Staley by the way." He added dryly.

"Who are you people?" AIC heard a wolf ask. She'd heard that voice before. Katie. Well.... At least ONE of them might not want to kill us AIC thought cryptically.
"The illustrious AIC and Staley," AIC replied. Staley was ranting about something or other to the huge gray wolf in front of him who looked like he could rip Staley's head off. One or two wolves smiled, one of them was Katie. AIC quickly peered around the mass of wolves, looking for an easy way out. She couldn't find any, but saw the she-wolf from earlier sitting near the opening of a large den.

Lara had heard the yelp. The sound of a wolf hitting something hard. She hadn't really cared though- just assumed somebody had done sometihng stupid. But when she stepped out of the den, she could see the yellowish male and the brownish female from earlier. What the f*** did they end up doing!? Lara asked herself as she began to weave in and out of the wolves until she was next to Madness. She could hear the male talking, sounding incredibly confused and irate. She then saw the track marks of a wolves tumbling down the slope. Well.... This should be good.
