I'm really surprised.. but I actually enjoyed it! I've never been a huge fan of superhero movies (after a while the whole "guy ALWAYS gets the girl" thing gets old). I wouldn't mind going to see this one again, in fact, rofl. I kinda liked the concept of the rings, too, and what they meant. :]

What Tibb said and I support what Anubis said ENTIRELY! ...which is a lot coming from me since I usually don't like sequels. - And to quote myself on my views of the movie... 'ASDlfjslkjLK?WEJrlkj;K2W2JRUEKHkwje;krjaLJWefjKWJERKJAKJDL. OMFG I. LOVED. THIS. MOVIE!! After confirming with my friend [who's a bigger nerd than I and can actually acquire the comics], I can't think of a thing wrong with it. They even set us up for a sequel rather decently [WHICH I FULLY SUPPORT for once]. Main character was rather whiny in the beginning, but he was a stronger char by the end with decent char development [and he was really freaking hawt with the light eyes]. Loved the alien characters, and wished we coulda seen more of them [especially Tomar-Re cause I really liked him]. The CGI was actually good. The plot was as well, and surprisingly not that predictable. Certain things like when Hal first learned to fly seemed rather unrealistic at first, but it took me pleasantly by surprise, and I just figured it's cause he's a pilot and has such confidence in himself that he got the hang of using the ring so quickly.
*hat-tip to Anubis cause having seen Emerald Knights helped keep track of characters in this*

I actually loved this movie a lot! Granted, there are other superhero movies that are a bit better, but the storyline/plot was pretty good and the actors and effects were great!

I thought this Movie was good. Sure was interesting. I liked the stoyline, it kept me watching and I didn't get bored. And like... You know EVERY movie has to have romance, right? xD It's a recurring theme in all these superhero movies. xD Aside from that, there weren't really any parts of the movie that I didn't like. The plot flowed well, the characters grew well. Not many problems wotb the movie.

It was kind of sad that the secondary antagonist killed his own father. Didn't really expect that to happen. When the second movie comes out, I'll watch it.
