I'm surprised there's not a topic on this already, but meh.

I think this movie had a nice, original plot line for a change, or at least an original spin on the plot. Having the hotel for all the monsters was a neat concept.

All in all, it was a good movie, so what are your thoughts? Sequel?

WARNING: SPOILERS.

Lawl, I was actually thinking on making a topic for this movie just today actually. xD
My sibling thought it wasn't anything special but I however LOVED IT. And not just because of the mocking Twilight reference. I honestly loved it. The animation was smooth and well done. I found it hilarious in not just dialogue but also in certain movements that the characters would make. The story was a bit redundant with at least the romance bit, but the story itself was fairly original and well thought out. And I ADORED the characters. Casting was fantastic even though Adam Sandler is part of it. All in all it was cute, funny, original, creative, and just fun. I'll certainly be getting the DVD when it's out.

Oh, and I don't know about a sequel. If they can come up with something good and fresh I guess so why not. Like I'd have a choice in the matter. But I don't think it needs one. I wonder how the love interest would last considering one's a vamp and the other a human, but that's a rather adult and deep topic that I don't think kids would quite understand.

It looked line nothing special but after seeing some clips and the "Behind the scenes" I thought it looked quite interesting (thanks also to Claire who first shown me it). I must say it was pretty good, me and my friend almost laughed all the time and I must say that Dracula's puppy faces were truly adorable and well done! I enjoyed watching it and I would gladly go another time!

Could it be a possible sequel theory the idea of him becoming a vampire because of that reason? xD Afterall, Dracula at once told him that he's make a good vampire.

That's true. But watching such serious shows like Buffy or Vampire Diaries where the drama of becoming a vamp is such a weekly issue, throwing it into a cartoon just seems out of place.

My mom and I watched this and howled with laughter when we saw this on Xfinity. I thought Adam Sandler as Dracula was really good. I was impressed, and oh gosh. I don't know what else to say but it's too funny and too cute. It's fresh, brilliant, well-done animation... What else could be said that hasn't been said already?!

Getting this to add to our family DVD collection is a no-brainer. XD

I'm hyped for the sequel.

It was okay, but nothing special too. Though I laughed hard at the Twillight reference xD
