This is something that has been said about the series and I just want to say that it is not a spin-off.

A spin-off is when you have a character from a show and then have a show of there own and it has its own world. It's clear that the series takes place in San Francisco and has the same type of characters. So how do people call this a spin-off ?

Well you see although the Characters the same. The main plot, original storyline and everything that had been created from has completely been deviated from. If it wasn't a Spin off. Carface would still be in Hell. Charlie and Sasha would be together "married" per say, AND live with David and Itchy would have been in Heaven, but as you know the story is completely different compared to the original ADGTH 2 and completely different from ADGTH and Spin off in mainly a tv series created from an old plot renewed. There was no concept of miracle dog tags for example. No solutions are also given in the Series other then Itchy so thats why.

I agree . . . the ADGTH TV series is a spin-off, not at all a continuation (although some parts seem like they could be one, but from what I remember of it, it was mostly a FAIL).

Yes, the same characters from the second movie returned, but why wasn't it truly a continuation of the ending of the sequel? Trust me, I'm probably not the only one that wishes for more Charlie/Sasha action and a possible . . . I don't know, chance for pups? That would have made into an interesting concept, but no . . . they had to make it so the ending (with exception of Charlie remaining on Earth with David and Sasha) be rather null and void.

Although some of the series-only characters were interesting. I don't remember them that well, but compared to the series, they were interesting.

I agree with Mo, it was a nasty spin off. The series did interest me at first but then it failed my interest. I saw all of them and I never really liked it as much as the movies.

I remember watching the series a bit, actually saw it before the movie. It aired on... Disney's One Saturday Morning I think? It was watchable, not real great but when I came on I didn't rush to change the channel.

I would have to agree with the majority the series is a spin-off, it just uses the same characters and setting but besides that it is completely different from the two movie. Even though it is a spin-off I absoulutley love the series.

yes i agree that this is a spin off, but they were just using a good and love movie to teach lessons to kids, though some of the things in were awesome, they could have used a few more plot twist and explained some things better, but other then that i liked the series alot, and the sasha charlie thing wasn't a problem for me after all they did poke hints at a possible charlie and annabelle relationship, i mean in the episode where they introduce belladona, when belladona tells annabelle that she wants charlie working for her, instead of saying no he is one of my angels she says and i qoute "but.. hes.. hes mine" like she was inlove with him or that he was her boyfriend at the time, though that could just be wishful thinking, they also could have been a little more true tp the story and explained things better but other wise i loved the series

i loved the series too. i think i'll watch it again soon. i kinda like almost all of the episodes. with twelve of them being my favorites (four from each season). i think the series is a spin off too.
